You've proved my point. Back when we were all squatting in the dirt poking berries up our noses, our only explanation for the unknown was 'magic'. Then we learn more, and magic becomes science while the rest is (usually) discarded. Homeopathic nonsense has no value or merit, and it should be discarded.
Don't act as if belief in magic is somehow noble; it's a celebration of ignorance.
