Oh my gosh, it's crazy how time can fly sometimes!

What's appropriate for a 4 month anniversary? I think it's appropriate to do something for that, right? Regardless, 4 months! I can't believe it.

I'm going to refrain from suggesting chinchillas like I did when Marius asked about Valentines Day because that sort of thing seems to turn around and bite me. That said, let's see. Is there anywhere special you two have wanted to go but haven't gotten around to? Or a way to recreate your first date?

Our first date was him sneaking into my garden to celebrate New Years with me. But that is a good idea. The new place to go to... not the chinchillas, that is.

So sneaking in for, I don't know, some kind of cute picnic if not? Yeah, chinchillas aren't exactly as romantic as it seems. Or maybe disney.

Oh, Disney is a good idea. Downtown at least, since I don't think either of us could afford the park. And the picnic is a good idea too! Thank you for the suggestions, Enjolras. I really appreciate it.

Downtown is a lot of fun definitely. Hey, any time.

If it's not out of line for me to ask, since it's on my mind and all, how have you been lately? I know we don't talk as much as we probably should.

I don't think it's out of line at all, and thank you for the thought. I have been...honestly, not well and I have said and done a lot of terrible things and just come to that realization lately. I AM trying to make it better now, as much as I can.

We absolutely should talk more. Are you all right in terms of...the dreams and everything?

Let me know if I can help, please? Even if it's just to chat or study with you.

I... haven't had anymore dreams just yet. Just the same one of my mother, one that doesn't hurt nearly as much now that she's here.

Of course I will. And I appreciate it. As part of trying to get back from this I've been attempting to hold myself accountable for things I had been letting slide before. It does seem to be helping me think before I act.

Keeping that in mind though, studying would not be a bad idea at all. I could use some time that is not solitary to do that in.

I am glad you're getting the chance to know her. I can't imagine what that dream must have been like to wake from.

I will help in any way possible. Would you like to meet me at the library next week to study for final exams? I'll bring the coffee.

Thank you, I'm really glad for this chance too.

I would really appreciate that, thanks. It would be good to run some things by someone NOT in the department, you know?

I remember it like it was yesterday! Marius bringing home your napkin and then the night he finally came home and we had a talk about lady pieces about romance and things. You two are adorable by the way.

Oh thank you, Andre! I do too, but I think that should be a given since I'm the one actually in the relationship.

it took him SO long of admiring you from afar. We all kind of made fun of him, or at least I did. I'm glad we DID finally get to meet you now.

Marius was so adorably shy about the entire thing. It was sort of like a medieval knight trying to decide whether or not he should approach a lady or would offend her. And you're kind of the best, you know!

Actually, the word Anniversary refers to the date on which an event occurred in some previous year.

In Latin Annus means year or returning yearly.

Oh! That makes sense! So what would be the appropriate term, in that case? I'm too impatient to wait another 8 months to celebrate, really.

I suppose you could call it a mensiversary. Mensis is Latin for month.

That would work, I think. But then I might have explain it to everyone that asks. I'll just say we're celebrating four months of being together?

I swear, you're too adorable sometimes It's appropriate to do something for every anniversary when you're in love, if you ask me. What's the point if you're not going to celebrate it?

I-- We haven't said anything about love yet... Anniversaries are rather important when you're so enamored, aren't they?

(Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

[info]alittlefall

Probably more important than they should be, really, but it's not every day you get the perfect excuse to keep them to yourself.
