You know, you're absolutely right. About all of those points. It makes it that much MORE important when we choose God, even if it's not in the way that any of the churches tell us to go about it. Like, in spite of all the horrible stuff out there, that power still exists and we can find it, experience that love and sort of...come to accept it.
All of this terrible stuff...the good things you mention ARE still there. And are so much more powerful when we use them and see others doing it. Maybe the point is that we love others that much that we're willing to do it.
