Not to pass judgement on anybody, but that's a very narrow minded opinion - not to mention a bit slow on the upswing at her end - since the reading of the bill happened well over a month ago. Civil unions/partnerships in the UK have been on the books since 2005, if memory serves; and what all the big fuss about now is whether or not those same couples that are legally joined [having the same rights as hetero couples] can legally call themselves husband/husband or wife/wife.
That so-called 'destruction of British society' all the stuffy, old-guard Conservatives are shaking in their boots over? Already happened, mate.
