There is much in life that we worry about needlessly, my child. Death is but another of those things. It shall come to us in its own time and we can but embrace life to the fullest as we experience it. Revel in the oneness of the natural world. Wonder at the flecks of water on a shower stall and the tiny worlds that open up to each of us as we peer into their depths. Savor each flake of skin as it vanishes away from you, leaving only the new and the pristine behind.
The fungus has not come for me. Should it come I must not be afraid but look to the beauty that it offers me instead and see my peace within it.
