I'm beginning to lose faith in the miracles of modern science and the healing powers it holds in the form of large, tasteless pills for the sick.

The strep bit may be gone, but I can't shake the rest of it. After a night fraught with congestion and sinus pain, and no help from the good people at Benelyn, I discovered that drinking excess quantities of orange juice is supposed to (apparently) do the trick.

The good news is, I feel better. The bad news is, I never want to drink orange juice again.

You need tea. The right tea and the right foods.

I'm starting to realize that. So much for the American ideal of a quick fix.

Can't blame a guy for trying.

We're pretty stupid that way.

Do you want me to bring you things? What's wrong?

The generosity of the people on this board never ceases to astound me.

I suspect it's just a bad head cold, judging by the symptoms. I mean, I'm no doctor, but it seems most likely. I'm certain I'll be fine.

You need licorice and eucalyptus tea, and to eat some more protein and garlic.

Where do you live?

Honestly, it's no worry. Really.

Oh. You're too kind - really. I guess I have no choice in the matter. I live at [address].
