VERITY - For the Lulz
Verity was behind the counter, ringing up purchases this morning. Normally Saturdays and Sundays were the most busy days at the shop, and Verity didn't really mind working them. She was going to take a couple of days off, anyway, to go to the Superbowl with her Dad. And she was hoping that the boys didn't mind that too much. Verity was a hard worker, and absolutely pulled her own weight. She knew the shop backward and forward, too--though, nowhere near as well as Fred and George did. It was a particularly busy morning, Verity assumed that because everyone was feeling better from the Blue Flu they were out shopping. She turned at the sound of someone calling for her.
