"Oh I knew Santa was fake pretty much out of the womb. I mean, obviously there was a brief moment; however, my father pretty much put the kabosh on that by teaching me all there is to know about science. While teaching me, I became pretty aware the existence of a Santa Claus was essentially impossible. But that didn't stop me from imagining the possibility of him, because imagination is key to science actually."
He then blinked when she went for the phone, "Uh... sure whatever you want to get I guess." He then raised a brow, "So it's kind of just... ingrained into you? This could actually be an example of a form of evolution, a next step to human understanding and growth; that's actually not impossible, and would explain how you're human and can do this stuff. Oh that'd be fascinating."
Thinking on it, "You probably have to keep using it to gain a strength in it. I imagine that you're using your mind, which of course is a muscle, so you'd have to exercise your mind in order to get it to work at prolonged periods of time. At least that's my assumption."
