Lulu hadn't been able to help it: she'd grinned broadly when she'd gotten Nikola's text. She'd been fairly sure their meeting had been a one-off, so to see him express further interest made her heart skip beats. Even the girls who worked in her shop with her had noticed, teasing her with catcalls before they were silenced with an icy glare.

"I'm going to get coffee," she told them. "I'll pick you up your regulars, but I don't know when I'll be back. Continue with production as scheduled, thank you." And with that she took off in her car, driving to the shop that Nikola had mentioned. She got out and adjusted the skirt of her suit, glad that she was dressed for work.

	"No, I can imagine it might insult the customer," Nikola said, enjoying her tone. "Oh?" He asked. "You devious schemer, you. That sounds like a brilliant marketing strategy." She smiled to herself, feeling fairly clever for what she'd done. "Natasha Romanoff? She's on some sort of television show. I don't really watch much in the way of TV, but I'd seen her on the forums."

Her legs crossed and uncrossed, partly to get comfortable, and partly so she'd brush against him. She enjoyed flirting at the best of times, but flirting with Nikola made her particularly happy.

"I've seen her name on the internet," Nikola said. "That's really good PR if you can get her to mention your shop on the air. I don't watch much television either, but I get a fair amount of pop culture from the internet."

He smirked when he felt her leg brush against his. She was so very sexy, and he wondered how much of that she actually knew, and how much she assumed.

"I'm glad that business is going well for you."

"She said she would." She bit her lip as she leaned forward to speak with him. "Between you and me, I'm rather amused that she's going to mention me. Every time she talks about someone, they end up in the tabloid magazines, which would be fantastic for my shop. Not so much for me."

Leaning back in her seat, she tossed her hair out of her face, sending a tiny wave of perfume Nikola's way. She didn't know so much that she was sexy, but she did enjoy flirting with Nikola. "And you, how are your classes going? Any other late students? Do they still allow corporal punishment?"

Nikola's eyes flicked down to her biting her lip, then back up to her own eyes as he leaned in a little to listen. "I'm sure you won't fing yourself in the tabloids. You're just a designer. When do the tabloids ever focus on them?" Nikola had a search engine on his computer programmed to search for specific names and places, he'd have to add Lulu's to the list so he could have an alert whenever she popped up.

He leaned back a little, too, but caught that whiff of perfume. She was amazing. Breath-taking, really. He wanted to have his way with her again. "Right as rain, I'm afraid. Makes coffee shop conversation a little boring. I did start locking the door at five minutes past, however." He added, casually lifting his cup for a sip. "After the first day I haven't had any tardy or absent students."

"Since every woman who so much speaks as Natasha is apparently drawn in by her and is left in a puddle of lesbianism. Even though I'm not interested in women, who can resist?" She rolled her eyes and laughed to herself. "Though if I did opt to experiment, I could do far worse than her. She truly is stunning."

His comment made her laugh. "I'm glad that it worked." She had to focus on something besides Nikola, otherwise she wanted to kiss him too terribly. "It's bad enough you have to grade papers, you shouldn't have to deal with tardiness."

"She takes good pictures, I'll give you that." Nikola had seen some truly beautiful pictures of the woman on the internet. He could go to bed tonight and dream of the two of them together, and he wouldn't feel deprived at all in that scenario.

"I have some TA's that help me with the grading," he said. "The whole teaching gig is pretty easy, really. Compared to a lot of other things I've done."

"I'm glad I don't have to worry about the paparazzi." She couldn't imagine people being that thoroughly interested in her. "Have you seen how immaculate she looks even while grocery shopping? It must get frustrating." She wasn't picking up on his lesbian fantasies, though, too immersed in the idea of how awful paparazzi would be.

Nikola mentioning that he had TAs made her laugh. "Any torrid affairs with your TAs? That always seemed like university superiors just giving professors pretty young things to have their ways with." She'd finished her coffee and sat back, smiling at him as she took off her jacket. Her shoulders were bare underneath, but the day was warm. "What else have you done?"

"I'm sure the cameras would love to follow you around," Nikola purred, giving her a smile. She was one of the most stunning creatures he'd ever laid eyes on, and part of her charm came in her modesty. "Celebrities like that must not be human," he added. "It's impossible to be that perfect all of the time."

"They're pretty all right. But not my style." He had three TAs and they were all graduate students from his department. All very, very geeky boys. He saw a lot of himself in them, though, and did his best to encourage their talent.

"You probably wouldn't have heard of any of the inventions for which I have patents. Or have sold patents," he added. "I worked in aerodynamics for a while, and in proton acceleration, but that's not the most interesting of topics for conversation."

Lulu wrinkled her nose. "Ah, yes. Me purchasing more colored pencils. Riveting copy, surely." She leaned forward without really thinking about it, smiling at him and reaching out to stroke his hand. Her fingernails lightly ran over the veins in his wrist, trailing up to his fingers.

"Likely not, but still important. Normally this would be where I tell most men not to downplay their achievements, but you're not most men." It was likely why she was interested. "You really should pull for an assistant that is your type. Philandering is your God-given right once you get tenure. Or that could just be me and my dream of having an employee I can periodically have affairs with in my back room." She chuckled, leaning back and pulling away, drinking her coffee again. "Pity you can't sew."

	"Aren't you lucky I'm quite the capable instructor?" She smiled to herself and wished that they weren't in public. "Truth be told, I rather envy your students." "I'm sure I'll see you around." She smiled as she looked at her own watch, realizing that she should likely be off as well; she had manufacturers to call. But she couldn't resist one final flirt. She leaned down to whisper in his ear, kissing the lobe gently. "Unfortunate we both have to leave, I wanted to have you in the bathroom."

Leaning back, she adjusted her coat collar and smiled sweetly at him. "I hope we can do this again soon, Nikola."
