Katherine just came in the door, her hands full of bags from the store. "Anyone home?" she called out as she made her way to the kitchen, "oh," she said as she saw her twin as she was looking down at some books, taking notes, "Have you been there all day?" she asked as she moved around her to set the bags on the counter as she shook her head at her sister.

It's not that she didn't get what Elena was doing, Katherine just didn't have any drive to be put in the effort to be someone like a doctor, especially with having to do more schooling. Katherine passed all her classes, but she barely attended them, she hated school. "I've decided to cook us dinner, figured I'd cook tonight," she called over her shoulder, by cook she means order out and make it look like she cooked it.

Putting the wine in the fridge she left all the bags unattended as she moved to the table, leaning over her sister's shoulder to snatch a chip from the bag Elena had open, "so you are going to have to move soon," she informs her before she put the chip in her mouth and started to chew it.

“Not all day,” Elena answered, staying focused on her textbook. “I have these things called classes that I tend to go to....” But she did need to study. Memorizing everything necessary to be a doctor was difficult and time-consuming.

But she did look up at Katherine’s comment. “...when did you learn how to cook?” She wouldn’t respond to needing to move. Not just yet at any rate. She could find another spot but she did like being close to food and drinks for marathon study sessions.

Reaching over to snatch another chip, Katherine popped it in her mouth, sitting in the chair next to Elena, "During my travels," she lied and winked at her twin, "honestly, you think I traveled the world and didn't learn anything?"

"And this," her hand waved over the table, "is a bit overboard, don't you think?" she reached for another chip, "nice to see you are still a nerd."

	"I didn't realize you had an interest in cooking," she answered honestly, though after the third chip, Elena tugged the bag closer to herself. "And it's not overboard. 	"I have to eat," she replied back with ease as she looked at her twin, almost glaring, but let it go, she was right after all. Than as Elena explained her fear and trying to avoid it, Katherine snorted at her. "Right," she breathed, "I don't see that happening, you are too anal with anything you do. 	Or too much in Katherine's eyes, she reached over for another chip and popped it in her mouth as her other hand reached for a book in the stack of books by Elena. "Do you need help? I could quiz you or something," this was a rare moment with them, she actually was offering to help, not bring polite. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Elena smiled at that, actually looking up to her sister. "I appreciate the offer," she answered genuinely. "I might take you up on it sometime...unless this is a one-time deal and if I don't accept tonight it's gone forever?" She was lightly teasing but she really was grateful that her sister was offering to help. It wasn't common.

"How about this...that book has a few quizzes in the back. If you can read the questions to me, let me know how badly I do...I'll help with dinner?"
