School was done for the year and now all Scott had to worry about was getting Stiles back home for pseudo-Christmas-dinner with Mom and his Step-Dad. He'd be lying to say he wasn't slightly nervous about the whole thing, not only cause of his Step-Dad's reaction to the whole 'I have a boyfriend' thing. There was the whole 'I'm a werewolf' thing too, not to mention he and his Step-Dad didn't have a whole lot to do with one another as a general rule and now they were doing festivities.

This wouldn't be awkward at all.

There were bright sides. He would get to see his Mom, who he missed deeply despite talking to her most days. He got to share the holidays with Stiles - all of it - which kinda meant the world to him right now. And they got to leave the snow and cold behind them for a while, which would just about give Scott the chance to warm his bones before going home.

"You ready to roll?" he asked Stiles as he shoved his case into the back of the Jeep. Presents - check. Toothbrush - check. Boyfriend - check. "Okay, let's do this," Scott said as he slid into the passenger seat and smiled over at Stiles.

"Only because I'm driving right now." Well, he wouldn't deny that. "Yep, that's exactly right. You're like a drug." And he wouldn't change anything about it. Honestly, he never really thought he would be in a relationship. He was used to keeping people at a certain distance. But it was Scott. And Scott wasn't like anybody else.

"I'm serious." Hmm, maybe he shouldn't have told Scott. He should have left his boyfriend in the dark. "Well, if you want to try some kinky stuff..." He glanced over at Scott, grinning. "Good to know."

He kind of wished Scott would stop worrying. "I'm fine," he told him. "Yeah, it's been a while. It's weird. But I'll get through it." He nodded. "As ready as I'll ever be. But first," he leaned over and kissed Scott, "Now I'm really ready."

He chuckled happily and told Stiles, "you're a Scottaholic is what it is!" Which was all good and the opposite was just as true. He'd never expected to come to town and fall in love, let alone with his best friend, but here they were and it was pretty amazing.

"Hey, there will be no kinky stuff!" Scott told him with a gentle swat, though maybe, when they weren't visiting his parents, he'd ask what Stiles had in mind... maybe. Also avoiding Cisco's eyes would become a thing now, cause... oh man, he'd heard them? Why hadn't Stiles given him more warning?

"Just so long as you are," Scott replied with a smile, "and I'm here, whatever distractions you need," he said with a smile Stiles' way. He hadn't expected the kiss but it was happily received and returned with enthusiasm, though Scott couldn't help but grin when he pulled away. "I see, you're worried about my magic powers, huh? Don't wanna meet the parents with a boner," he nodded sagely, "I totally understand, but you're good. Let's go," he said getting out of the car and waiting for Stiles to join him.
