Not only had Cisco's dreams left him wanting, but now his real life had as well. His family was too hung up on Dante's latest achievement to bother coming when they'd heard he collapsed. Of course it was his own fault, but did that mean they shouldn't have come? Anakin was coming. Someone was actually breaking down the mental walls he was setting up to try to set up. Cisco wasn't sure how to feel about that. He'd set those walls up so as not to be hurt, but Anakin kept trying to be his friend and kept showing up to break through them, so finally the young man was willing to try to let him in. He'd accepted his friendship, but this? Hospital visitations, that was above and beyond in Cisco's eyes. Anakin had no idea how much it meant to him. He'd earned a friend come hell or high water.
And well, Star Wars. There was bound to be a little bit of both. It was a little funny actually, befriending Anakin Skywalker of all people. Cisco lie there in that quiet room, a forearm resting against his forehead as he stared at the various panels in the ceiling. There really wasn't much else to do. He was hooked up to a few observational machines, given fluids and told to rest. He would have to remain there for at least a day or two but given that it was fluctuating who knew. Sometimes he had moments of clarity, but most of the last day had gone by in a blur. Dark hair stuck to his pale skin in a messy state of disarray. He felt awful. He could have sworn the fever broke already, he remembered talking to people hours ago, but when he laid back down again it was late. The sun had gone down when his eyes opened, his entire body felt like a brick and Cisco made a discontent sound as he went to push himself up. It had to be morning, he was going to be late for work.
