Ozma was seriously questioning the wisdom of her decision to wear heels when she went out to meet with that designer this morning. Or at the very least not putting a pair of flats in a bag to change into before she started walking. Maybe she should give some thought to actually getting a car since cabs weren’t nearly as reliable as she was used to. Every cab company she’d called today had either not answered the phone or none of the drivers had been available to come pick her up. So the bus it was. Assuming she could find the stop.
She sat down on a bench, resting her feet for a moment. She just wanted to get home and take care of herself, run a nice hot bath and relax in it. Maybe take care of the low-level arousal that had been bothering her all day. It was a little out of the ordinary but it had been awhile since she’d been with anyone so maybe it had just been building up. It was just hard for her to meet anyone sometimes between her work schedule and the fact she was bisexual because some people just didn’t want to let go of the idea that she was hooking up with the other models on shoots. Which it had happened in the past but it wasn’t a guarantee.
She looked up when she heard footsteps approaching, reaching up to push red curls over her shoulder as she watched the person walk toward her - this gorgeous blonde woman. Maybe the heels hadn’t been such a bad idea - they did work really well with the dress.
***
Elsa had never really learned to drive. It was far easier in London to take a cab or the underground, and now that she was back in the US she hadn't really adjusted her habits. With her new job, she could afford one (hell with her family fortune she could too, but she felt guilty dipping into that). But she'd missed her bus, and so had decided to try to catch another one. She figured it would be faster than waiting, even if she had to make a switch later on.
Her own heels clicked on the cement as she walked, and she wore a deep blue pencil skirt, with a matching blouse. Very business-like, though some days she really did want to let it go and go full nightgown. But it would probably attract some attention. And maybe she wanted that attention, though she was completely flabbergasted as to why. Elsa had a great deal of social anxiety, and the number of women that pinged her 'oh no she's hot' radar could be counted on one hand.
She turned her head, smiling at the woman on the bench. "I guess this bus is late too."
Oh no. She’s hot.
***
Ozma smiled back at her, straddling the line between friendly and flirty as she made more room on the bench in case the woman wanted to sit down. And if she shifted her skirt a little higher up as she moved - it was just an accident that she showed more leg. That was her story and she was sticking to it. She’d never been shy of showing a little skin, her portfolio was proof of that to anyone who looked at her work. She looked the blonde over as subtly as she could, reinforcing her split second appraisal of the other woman’s beauty. She was gorgeous.
“I think that transportations a problem in every way today. Is it always this hard to get around places?”
***
"Not usually," Elsa said. When she sat, she sat closer than she would have on any normal day. Typically she preferred a little space, but her eyes had noticed the extra leg and suddenly? She felt light headed.
"Taxis are easier, but I'm trying to break that habit. It’s harder to meet people in a taxi." At least she was trying to get over her social anxiety.
Elsa tucked some strands of hair behind her ear that had come loose from her french braid. "I'm Elsa."
She was blushing, why was she blushing? She hadn’t felt this flustered since she met Diana. Though to be fair, Diana did do that to like everyone.
***
Ozma smiled at her as she held out a hand. “Ozma. Pleasure to meet you Elsa,” she said, letting a little touch of flirtatiousness creep into her voice.
“I’ll take your word about taxis being easier - I didn’t have much luck with that. Everyone I called either didn’t answer or none of their drivers were available. I hope they’re having a good time whatever they’re doing.” The meeting she’d had gave her an idea of one way people might be spending their time during the workday. The assistant had been all but humping her boss right there in front of her.
***
“I’m mostly used to the ones in London. I studied there for seven years.” Elsa didn’t know what to do with the flirting, only that breathing suddenly seemed harder. She wanted to cool off, but didn’t want to risk losing control of her powers and causing an early winter in California.
“If no one is coming, at least we’re not alone?” Elsa blinked and stared at her hands. That sounded like it came out wrong. Or maybe she was imagining things.
***
“What did you study?” Ozma asked, turning slightly on the bench so that she could see her companion better. She put her elbow up on the back of the bench, leaning her head on her fist lightly. She knew the position put her breasts forward a little more, giving a good view of her cleavage in this dress.
She smiled at her. “At least we have each other while we wait…” She meant it exactly the way it sounded.
***
“I uhm…” Elsa was caught off guard, at once very nervous and yet finding herself responding to both Ozma’s words and her … display. Enough so that when her eyes dipped she couldn’t tear them away.
“Architect,” She replied thickly. “I make buildings pretty.”
She mentally facepalmed, wincing a little.
***
Ozma smiled at her companion, noticing where Elsa’s gaze was locked but she didn't mind. “I'm a model. I do the same for clothes. I started off with makeup though.” She licked her lips to moisten them. “Have you designed anything I'd have seen?”
***
“Not yet,” Elsa said, her mouth dry. She finally forced her eyes to go to Ozma’s face. It really didn’t change anything, Ozma was so pretty. “I just graduated, I’m working on a building design for L-Corp right now. Once we’re out of the planning stages the design will be publically revealed.”
Elsa grinned, excitement brimming in her eyes. “I can’t wait.”
***
Ozma reached out to gently touch Elsa’s wrist, running one finger over it. “You’ll have to let me know when it’s revealed so I can go look it up.” If there was any doubt that she wanted to spend more time with Elsa that one sentence should put it to rest.
***
A shiver ran through Elsa’s body. Her normal inclination was to pull away, put a safe space between her and anyone else. In her dreams it was for others’ protection, in her waking life it was for her own. Yet, she didn’t pull away. “I can..I will.”
Something about Ozma’s eyes was drawing her in, and she didn’t think she wanted to stop it.
***
Ozma like to think of herself as a good judge of people and something was telling her not to push too much further with Elsa right then. She really did want to get to know the blonde woman better and while most of her was practically screaming for her to just keep going she was going to listen to that small part of her. She kept her hand on Elsa’s wrist but quit rubbing it, shifting slightly so that she was just sitting a little closer to her on the bench. “So when you aren’t working - what do you do to stay busy?”
***
Elsa was starting to get all kinds of crazy ideas, most of them involving sitting in Ozma’s lap. As it was, she found herself leaning in almost close enough to kiss her. “I read, mostly. Find places to… watch people. Without being too close to people most of the time. I’m kind of boring.”
***
“Boring is the last word I’d use to describe you. I’d go with...quiet. And there’s nothing wrong with that. I love finding places where I can sit and read or watch people.” Ozma said softly, gaze travelling down to Elsa’s mouth and then she dragged her gaze back up to Elsa’s eyes.
***
“... Is it suddenly very warm, or is it just me?” Elsa asked, failing where Ozma had succeeded in lifting her gaze from lips to eyes. Her head felt suddenly filled with fog and her face flushed.
***
Ozma noticed the way Elsa’s eyes lingered on her mouth and she leaned in slowly to brush her lips against the other woman’s. “It’s a little warm out here but - you’re definitely hot enough to add to that.” She whispered.
***
Elsa made a little sound at the back of her throat. The contact was both too long and not long enough, and her voice came out raspy. “Usually my thing is being cold.”
There was a sudden misting of the air between their mouths, adding emphasis to the cold Elsa mentioned. “You’re really hot too.”
***
That little sound from Elsa made a shiver run through Ozma’s body, she wanted to see if she could get the beautiful blonde to make any other sounds given the right circumstances. “Oh? My gran used to have a saying about people that ran cold…” Ozma said, a little bit of a teasing smile on her face as she reached out to gently brush a finger over Elsa’s cheek.
***
Eyes fluttering shut, Elsa could feel herself giving into whatever this was. Ozma was gorgeous, and flirting with her and she wasn’t panicking all over herself which was generally a win. She started to lean in to kiss her again, and asked, “What is that?”
***
“That those were the people that had the warmest hearts.” Ozma said, her voice softening a little bit the way it always did when she thought about the old woman whose name she shared. She leaned in just a little to close the distance between her and Elsa, kissing her softly.
***
Elsa was too far gone, something in the air pushing her past the edge and into a free fall she wasn’t experienced in but was quite enjoying. Ozma’s words were like a little extra push and when she kissed her back it was anything but soft.
She wanted Ozma, and that was okay.
***
Ozma moved her hand to rest on the back of Elsa’s neck as they kissed, closing her eyes as she just gave in to whatever was going on here between them.
***
Moaning, Elsa slipped into Ozma’s lap, running her fingers into her hair. Ice crystals formed on her eyelashes.
***
Ozma wrapped her free arm around Elsa’s waist, pulling the blonde woman closer to her. She knew that a reporter could see them but she honestly didn’t care right then. All she cared about was drawing another moan from Elsa.
***
Elsa gave up another moan, and then another after that as her head spun. It would be easy enough to stop. Let her powers cause a mini-snow storm and that would cool them both down quickly. But she couldn't quite cause them to act up on command and her anxiety had ceased for the moment.
And she didn't want to stop. Her hand ran down the side of Ozma's neck and cupped it, and she hesitantly slid her other hand down Ozma's shoulder.
***
Ozma slid her hand down to the hem of Elsa’s skirt, inching her fingers up under the tight material to tease along Elsa’s upper leg as she kissed her again, nibbling at her lower lip gently. She stroked Elsa’s back and side gently as she broke their kiss and leaned her forehead against Elsa’s. “What do you say we move this someplace more private gorgeous?” The invitation was obvious in her voice and the way she was looking at the blonde woman.
***
“Yes,” The sound came out like a winter breeze, her breath nearly as cold even though the rest of her was warmer than she’d thought possible. She couldn’t recall being this turned on or this into anything like this before. She’d crushed on her roommate, but that was nothing like this. Elsa’s head was swimming.
“Please.”
***
Ozma shifted so that she could pull her phone out of the purse at her side, trying one last time to get hold of a cab company so that they could get to her apartment without having to wait on this bus any longer. She looked around for a business name that she could give the operator who finally answered, grinning and giving Elsa a quick kiss as the dispatcher assured her the car would be there in five minutes at the most. “Hope you don’t mind I gave them my address as the destination.”
***
“That’s okay.” Elsa had moved her lips to Ozma’s neck, kissing and nibbling at it. At this point she’d probably let Ozma drag her into the bushes and have her way with her, but Ozma’s address was a better idea. Probably.
Assuming the driver ever actually arrived.
***
“Think you can wait five minutes gorgeous? Because that’s how long they said it would be. Apparently they’ve sent their only reliable driver to pick us up.” Ozma murmured, moaning a little as Elsa’s lips moved over her neck.
***
“Probably… not interested in…” Elsa murmured, before she tempted fate and nibbled. She decided she really liked that, and did it again.
“Never felt so warm before.”
***
“Our good luck. His bad luck.” Ozma said, moaning softly as Elsa nibbled at her skin.
“I know the feeling gorgeous. I’ll help take care of it as soon as we get to my place.” She promised, hand inching up a little further under the other woman’s skirt.
***
Five minutes seemed like an eternity when Elsa couldn’t have her way with Ozma. The air was thick and heavy, and her head continued to spin. It felt like those times she’d had drinks, but she didn’t feel out of control. For the first time in forever, she felt like she was in control.
When the cab pulled up, she very nearly fell out of Ozma’s lap.
***
Ozma tightened her grip on Elsa’s waist when the blonde almost fell out of her lap, reluctantly pulling her hand out from under the hem of her skirt as she gave her another kiss and slowly pulled her arm from around her waist so they could stand up. “My flat’s not too far from here luckily.”
***
It was lucky. Elsa managed to stand mostly straight, which was the straightest thing about this entire situation. Smoothing her skirt down, she smiled down at Ozma. “He needs to drive very fast.”
***
“I’ll promise him double the fare if he does.” Ozma said opening the door for Elsa to slide in, watching her every move.
***
Elsa slid in, reaching to buckle up. It broke the spell for just a moment, like she’d been drowning and breached the surface for a breath of air. But when Ozma was in the car with her, she was pulled back under, leaning against her and nuzzling lightly.
***
Ozma closed the door, buckling up as she verified the address for the driver, promising him double the fare and a tip if he got them there quickly. She wrapped her arm back around Elsa, leaning her head in to give her a sweet kiss.
***
Closing her eyes, Elsa fell into the kiss, running her hand down Ozma’s chest and sighing in contentment. This was good, this was perfect, and she didn’t want it to end.
***
Ozma gave a little shiver as Elsa’s hand moved over her chest. She was wrapped up in their kiss and didn’t realize they’d arrived at her apartment until the driver politely cleared his throat. She pulled away, digging her wallet out of her bag and counted out the money for the driver - double his fare and a nice tip for not commenting on their display in the back seat before reaching for Elsa’s hand to lead her into the building.
***
Letting herself be pulled in Elsa tried desperately to keep her hands to herself long enough to make it inside.
She took a deep breathe, trying to find her sense of … anything. But all she could think about was Ozma having her way and vice versa.
***
Ozma gave her a half smile as she rushed them to her apartment, barely acknowledging her neighbors greetings because she couldn’t trust herself to stop long enough to have a polite conversation without blurting out what she and Elsa were heading to her place to do. Or what she assumed they were going to do. She unlocked the door, ushering Elsa in with her and locking the door as she kissed her again, kicking off her heels as she started leading them to the bedroom.
***
Elsa’s heels joined Ozma’s on the floor while her lips remained locked on the other woman’s. She tried to shrug out of her coat, needing to feel more of Ozma’s hands on her skin. Her thigh still felt Ozma’s fingers, even though they’d been absent since the bus stop.
She broke the kiss as they entered the bedroom. “I want this.”
***
Ozma grinned at her, a little bit cockily. “I hope so. Otherwise this afternoon would be a touch awkward,” she teased, shoving Elsa’s coat off her shoulders so that it hit the floor as she pulled the blonde woman on to the bed with her.
***
“Just a touch,” Elsa acknowledged. She ended up on top of Ozma, and kissed her teasingly. She felt a surge of confidence and she liked it. She hoped it lasted long enough. She hoped it lasted forever.
“I’m a fast learner, but you’ll need to show me what to do.”
**
Ozma let out a tiny giggle at that teasing kiss before looking up at Elsa in surprise and grinning. She’d be happy to teach the blonde woman almost anything. “Happily.”
