Aside from the fireworks, Logan has had organized carnival games, horseback riding, various raffles and contests. There's even a few rides set up in the fields.

The ranch house, dorms and office are off limits, but it's a nice day and there's plenty of shade under awnings and tents, and lots of ice cream, BBQ and some other dishes.

	Not knowing what she'd gotten herself into, Kitty walked with Diana to the shooting range. They were basic air rifles and probably very inaccurate, but Kitty had a Technique that might give her an edge. "Good luck." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Guns weren't Diana's strong suit. Now if there was a game that used bows, she'd ace that with flying colors. So for now, Diana would be at the mercy of her aim and the accuracy of the air rifle. "Same to you," she responded as she took up one of the rifles. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

The buzzer went off, but Kitty didn't spray the trigger. Instead she pulsed it, shooting a second or less at a time. The first pulse was high and to the left so she adjusted on subsequent pulses.

the goal was to remove the red circle entirely from the center of the paper. If even a little bit was left, you lost!

You just had to do it with 100 pellets and a limited supply of compressed air.

	When the buzzer went off, Diana tried not to spray her shots. Her skill with the bow had given her a good sense of aim, but pulling a trigger was different from shooting an arrow. Nevertheless, she tried her best to hit the red circle. Diana was commendable in her effort, but she was not going to be removing the red circle entirely. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Yes you did," Diana acknowledged. She'd almost offered to buy anyways, but a bet was a bet. "How about one more game, then we can eat? The bet for this one is that the loser must reveal something they have not yet told the other." So sort of like Truth or Dare, just with truth being the only option. Diana looked at both of the tests for a few moments. There were pros and cons to both. "How about the mallet? Perhaps we can do the agility one later to work off the food." Not that Diana needed to cut the calories or anything, she was on the slightly thinner side. Sure she had some muscle tone, but she was still thin and definitely looked like she didn't need to cut calories.

Diana noticed the blush, and she just smiled as she took the mallet. "Why thank you." She may have brushed Kitty's hand in the process of taking the mallet. She then set herself properly before she brought the mallet down with all of her might.

She had no super-strength, but thanks to her years of archery, her shoulder and arm muscles were rather developed. As such, she almost hit the bell, but not quite.

"Now, your turn," she said, holding the mallet out to Kitty.

Kitty was going to blame her dreams for her lack of smoothness. Not that she had much but she'd been pretty good at that until she'd met Diana. Diana threw her brain into short circuit mode.

She stared more at Diana than at the result, the expression on her face pretty close to 'oh no I'm gay'. She took the mallet and swallowed. "Not bad."

Even applying the science of the momentum and weight of the mallet, Kitty didn't think she'd do as good. But she at least wanted to get past 'great!'

Her body was trained more for endurance and leg strength, but she had decent upper body strength. She brought the hammer down, and it about six inches shy of Diana's mark.

She watched closely, enjoying the sight of Kitty setting up to take her swing. Diana watched as Kitty almost hit the mark Diana had. A warm smile crossed her face.

"Well done!" She commended. It wasn't exactly an easy test of strength. Not everyone could hit the mark Diana had.

"Now, as I won that one, you need to tell me something you haven't told me before. When did you know that you liked women?" Diana wasn't going to pull her punches, but she was going to at least be nice about the questions she asked. She wasn't going to get all personal. At least not in public.

That was a fair question, and not the worst that Diana could have asked. Kitty tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "Well, uhm. I've always had inklings. But it was when I met Xi'an. And then well...once I accepted that, I realized I tend to lean more towards women. All of my relationships since have been with them. I still find guys attractive, but I think long term, like lifetime? Girls."

	"So it was a sort of meeting that one person that suddenly made it clear?" It always fascinated Diana how people discovered their sexuality. Some knew from a very young age. Kitty started at Diana. "Really? Oh, I suppose you might not get them over in Greece. Which is funny. Xena follows the exploits of a warrior trying to redeem herself for terrible things she'd done, and she's accompanied by a bard. It takes place in ancient Greece and there's a lot of uhm... lets just say when I last saw it I realized they were doing everything they could get away with to say the two women were lovers without saying they were lovers."

	"Even if we did get them, I did not watch much television. My mother did not allow it. She preferred me to focus on my studies. I preferred to be active." Diana confessed with a laugh. "Though I am intrigued by Xena. Ancient Greece depicted in a television show. Though I would assume that it took liberties with history in the same way the 300 did?" "Caesar, Cleopatra, Plato, the birth of christ, and all kinds of other things all happen in the same 20 year time period," Kitty explained. "She was also briefly a Valkyrie, and spent time in China and Japan. It doesn't take itself very seriously a lot of the time. It has drama and intense moments, but it also has musical episodes and episodes where they're reincarnated in the present."

Kitty leaned in closer. "It's a really fun show."
