Celaena loved parties! Especially ones for her, but who didn't? She'd invited all her friends over for games, dancing and general hanging out. She was currently by the pool with a drink in hand watching one of those said friends being thrown into the pool when someone came up behind her and spoke.

	Rey had come (she couldn't say no to either food or Cel in general), but she kept a bit to herself, sitting in a corner near the pool and watching people. She had a huge plate of food and a drink with an umbrella. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Clary had been watching some guys playing pool when she saw the girl sat in the corner, keeping to herself. Making her way over, Clary smiled at the girl. 	"Thanks," Clary smiled and sat, noticing Rey moving her food. "Don't worry, I couldn't eat another bite! I didn't realise Celaena was putting on a full scale buffet like that!" she said leaning back and putting a hand on her stomach. She did feel like she'd eaten too much and now had a massive belly. "Sorry, habit. I'm a bit used to having to defend my food. I'm trying to break out of it. And also trying not to gorge myself when I have the chance. " Between Jakku and the lean times in Pheonix, Rey had an uphill climb. Too many weeks and months where she'd had to eat as much as she could to get through the days when she'd have nothing.

"I'm Rey." She offered her hand.

"Only child. I never even knew my parents," Rey explained. "So it's... survival. I've been in places where if I don't eat everything I get my hands on, I might regret it if I can't find food for a week after."

It was all so matter-of-fact to her. Sometimes she forgot that that wasn't normal. Sometimes she forgot her dream life and her waking life were different. She'd never starved in London or Phoenix no matter how hard it had gotten, not like she had on Jakku.
