Elizabeth was stood waiting in the vestibule of the college waiting for the next new student to arrive. After talking it over for John, they'd decided to offer some tours of the campus for new students to help them get acquainted with the new building. Tucking her hair behind her ear, she spotted someone coming towards her looking like a new student. Smiling, she stretched out a hand in greeting, "Hi there, I'm Dr Weir, nice to meet you."

	Laura didn't do hugs, so she stood there stiffly for a moment, then awkwardly patted Wanda's back. That actually wasn't that bad, she decided. Still awkward, though. She smiled shyly, "I am good, thank you. You?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Better for seeing you here," Wanda smiled as she pulled back. "I'm so happy you came! Do you want to walk with me? Dr Weir gave me a map of the campus so we can try and navigate ourselves," she smiled, showing Laura the map from her pocket. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"I am glad I came. I could use the help navigating." That was mostly true. She just needed to be shown a place once and she'd be good from there. 	"Great!" Wanda grinned and took Laura's elbow to pull her over to the table with drinks, snacks and maps on it. "Are you doing ok?" she asked, pouring them both glasses of water and handing it to her. There were leaflets laid out on the table too of various campus activities and groups. 	Why did people always ask her that? Laura shrugged her shoulders. "I am doing fine, I guess. Adapting to my living situation." Trying to be normal. It was a challenge. "It is still difficult to be among too many people." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"My room mates. I have been alone for a long time. Having people around is strange. They are nice though." Even though she'd told her about some of her dreams, she was almost embarrassed to admit she'd run away and been homeless for awhile, here. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	"Capable..." Wanda frowned as she thought on the name. It sounded familiar and she was trying to place it. "Does she work for a bookstore? I think I may have met her. Hitch-hiking sounds dangerous though, I'm glad you met Furiosa and Capable, otherwise we might never have met," she smiled and playfully nudged Laura with her shoulder.
