Anakin waited at a table on the patio of the Sushi bar he and Ahsoka had agreed upon. Dressed in black button up shirt, untucked over the top of a black undershirt and a pair of jeans, Anakin sipped at the tea he'd been brought and stared at his phone with a silence, not acknowledging anyone who might have looked his way or offered any sort of greeting; he seemed tranced really, lost in his own world of thought.
He'd been that way since the night he'd nearly killed Clara. The images still haunted him, and part of him wanted to go to her and apologize, tell her he didn't know how it happened, or why, but knew what he'd done was wrong. It had scared him, honestly, how fast and easily it came. The Dark Side swirled, and he knew it was there, ever poaching at his mind. It pestered him, pelted him with images of his mother, of Padme, and now of Clara hovering there due to his own rage. Fear is what hit him, as well as more anger, and he didn't know how to quell it.
He'd hurt a friend, and what was the point of power if you used it to hurt your own friends? He needed to discuss it with Ahsoka really; maybe not that in particular, but the idea of the Dark Side, of how the dreams were affecting him. She was the only one who would understand the Force and its influence, most would think it's all conscious decisions, but no, to him there was so much to the Force. So much he understood but also didn't; it came with having the memories of a trained Jedi, but never having been exposed to such a thing before in his actual life.
It was heart pounding, mildly terrifying, but he knew he could overcome it. Because he had to.
