So, Merlin took Ben for a walk and a play date at the park. Now that Ben was moving around a bit more, sitting up better on his own, all those lovely six month milestones (SIX MONTHS, can you believe it?) it was easier for people to take him out to play. Walks were great, in his stroller, and playing at the park was lovely. He loved to play in the sand. (He probably ate more than his fair share.)

So Audrey and Nina had the house to themselves. Audrey had Netflix all lined up, and a bottle of wine breathing on the counter. There was a watermelon, arugula and feta cheese salad sitting nearby, with hummus and pita. Definitely a summertime meal. No cooking required.

Audrey had just taken off her shoes and was relaxing on the sofa when she heard her best friend come in through the sliding glass door.

"Nina?"
