That's the first diamond from our newest mine.
Who: Maleficent and Aurora
What: It's Aurora's birthday!
When: 3/1/2015
Where: Maleficent kind of rented a beach area
Rating: PG-13 for innuendo
Picnic. Maleficent’s plan for Aurora’s birthday revolved around just the right spot overlooking the ocean. She’d basically paid to ensure they’d be uninterrupted, and they were far enough away from prying eyes. Hopefully this time Stefan wouldn’t show his ugly face and interrupt her post-dinner plans. Although him catching them with Maleficent’s head between his daughter’s legs would be worth it for the look on his face (it was after all her birthday and she had every intention of leaving the young woman a puddle of goo and her horns were convenient handholds).
The blanket was already set, and the food ready to go when they arrived. Maleficent sat and gestured for Aurora to join her. “You’ve got a present waiting at the flat, but I have a few things here. But for now lets enjoy our meal. And the cake.”
Aurora beamed at Maleficent as she sat down beside her. “This is amazing!” she said. She leaned over and gave Maleficent a kiss on the cheek. The view was spectacular. “This is so much better than a restaurant. Thank you so much.”
The CEO smiled, tilting her head and letting the glamour around her head fade to reveal her horns. Her wings remained obscured, the magic she used making it easier to walk about, as well as hiding them. She wasn’t ready, yet, to truly free herself. At least until Aurora wished it. Maleficent hadn’t actually let them make love with the wings out, yet.
“I thought you’d like it. It’s what you deserve. Perfection.”
“I love it.” Aurora glanced around at the amazing looking food, then leaned in to give Maleficent another kiss, this time on the lips. “I can honestly say this is the best birthday I’ve ever had.”
“The first of many together,” Maleficent promised. She nudged her forehead against Aurora’s. “You make me happy. I want to make you as happy as you make me feel.”
Aurora smiled. “You make me happy, too.” She gave the faery another kiss, then began helping herself to some of the food.
“Mmm! Delicious!”
Maleficent liked to watch Aurora eat. And sleep. And work. She just liked to watch, feeling a keen sense of possessiveness and pride. And love, always love, the sort of love that left her breathless and weak in the knees just thinking about it.
It was better than eating. "Did I remember your favorite?"
“You did!” Aurora grinned and ate some more. “You really outdid yourself. I love that you decided to spoil me like this.”
“I will always spoil you. I just fear you’ll become used to it, so I think I should stop. But i’m unable to stop.” Maleficent actually looked a little flustered.
Aurora giggled and bumped Maleficent with her shoulder. “You spoil me in so many different ways, though. You keep me on my toes with it. I don’t think I’ll ever quite get used to it.”
“That is because I love you.” There. She said the words, and on Aurora’s birthday. Maleficent felt proud of herself. “Now eat up, I have presents for you.” She shifted into a cross legged position, looking twenty years younger and very eager.
Aurora grinned. “I love your surprises.” She did continue eating then, because everything was amazing, and Maleficent really had pulled out all the stops for this. So much better than a restaurant.
After a few more moments, with Maleficent shifting impatiently, she pushed a box towards Aurora. “Your first gift.” How many had she gotten her? Four, one of which was back home. And that didn’t count her plans for the night, if Aurora was in the mood.
“First gift? I like the sound of that.” Aurora grinned and picked up the box. She looked the box over for a moment before opening it.
Inside was a gold chain, with a diamond hanging from it. A very large diamond.
"That's the first diamond from our newest mine. The first truly ethical mine."
It actually hurt to say the word ethical.
Aurora couldn’t remember if she’d ever seen a diamond that large up close before. And from the company’s first ethical mine? And the first diamond? She was touched and a like overwhelmed. She kissed Maleficent, and her eyes were a little misty when she pulled back.
“It’s amazing! Thank you. Help me put it on?”
The fairy smiled, gesturing for Aurora to turn around, then slid the necklace around her throat. Her fingers lingered along the skin where Aurora’s neck met her shoulder, to be quickly replaced by lips. “You look lovely.”
The touch of Maleficent’s lips on her skin sent a pleasant shiver through Aurora. She brought a hand up to run through the faery’s hair. “So do you. You always do.” She ran her hand up a little higher to rub against one of Maleficent’s horns. “And I love it when you feel like letting these show.”
“I would prefer it,” she admitted. “I am not ashamed.” But perhaps she was a little afraid of how people might react. “I worry though, for your sake.”
Aurora sighed. “I understand. And I do appreciate how much you do care about my reputation. But I’m glad you let them show when we’re alone.” She didn’t mention the wings just yet, but she loved them, too.
“Your reputation, and your safety.” She brushed her fingers at Aurora’s hair, then reached for another box. “Your second present.”
Aurora smiled and took the offered box. “Again, I have to say this is the best birthday I’ve ever had.” She carefully opened the second box, wondering what this one might be.
This time, there was a brand new one. One of the latest smartphones, with a crystal clear screen and impressive touch response time. "I thought you should have something nice. It can help improve productivity, assuming you aren't playing angry birds."
Aurora chuckled. “It will be perfect for keeping up with things for work. And with you.” She gave Maleficent another kiss on the cheek. “Thank you.”
“You’re welcome.” Maleficent’s hand ran down Aurora’s side, and she leaned in to nuzzle her just a bit. “I wish we could stay out here forever. I think I want a place that we can make feel closer to nature. Or at least closer to the ocean.” Which would be expensive, but that wasn’t an issue.
“That would be wonderful! It would be nice to be closer to to the ocean. It’s a little hard to get closer to nature and still manage to get to work easily, sadly.” Aurora sighed, then brightened again. “But at least we can add nature to whatever we do find.”
Maleficent smirked to herself. She already had a house picked out, it just needed Aurora’s approval. She reached for a drink to wet her throat, then started to play with the buttons of Aurora’s blouse. Her voice grew husky. “Now for your third present.” She guided one of Aurora’s hands to a horn as she laid her on her back. “You may want to hold on….”
