The club was decked out in silver, blue and white for the Winter Wonderland themed New Year's Eve celebration. The DJ was playing a good selection of music and people were busy getting drunk and having a wonderful time with friends. And that was her intention, to create a fun safe place for people to ring in the New Year.

"Mmm." Kate pondered that for a moment. Then shook her head. "Nope. Sorry. That's not an acceptable response to 'there will be dancing.'" She said, teasing a bit. "Hi, Teddy. It's nice to meet you."

The bartender brought out two flutes of champagne and set them on the bar in front of the pair of them.

Kate lifted hers. "It's okay. You don't really have to dance. Just stand there and I'll dance around you. Like a Maypole." ...it was hard to tell if she was teasing.
