The club was decked out in silver, blue and white for the Winter Wonderland themed New Year's Eve celebration. The DJ was playing a good selection of music and people were busy getting drunk and having a wonderful time with friends. And that was her intention, to create a fun safe place for people to ring in the New Year.

"That's good." Lexi smiled and took another sip of her drink. This was her second of the holiday themed cocktails that the club was offering that evening. "I've been here a few times, yeah. I'm acquaintances with the owner." Faye was exactly the type of person Lexi would be friends with, but they had only talked a few times, so Lexi didn't think they were quite friends yet, but she definitely wouldn't mind if they did become friends.

As she watched him, it suddenly hit Lexi as to how she knew this guy. Television. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're not on TV, are you?" Unlike other girls her age or younger, who might have just fangirled all over him once they realized who he was, Lexi had met celebrities before and knew that that wasn't the way to act around them.

	Busted. He debated pretending he wasn't, but it'd never really been his habit to lie, and it wasn't as if he was making out with a guy with paparazzi watching. Again. Lexi couldn't help but grin at the fact that she was right, "Let me guess. The CW." Lexi's guilty pleasure was CW shows. Sure, they were mostly focused at her demographic, but she didn't usually admit that she watched that stuff. Stefan was one of the only people who knew what her DVR contained.

"And I don't know about everyone. Although, I've been in a handful of commercials myself." For the last few years, Lexi had been attempting to become an actress and had done a couple commercials, but not much lately.

	Theodore sometimes forgot that people other than teenagers actually watched the CW, and it startled him. His expression turned sheepish, and he nodded. "Getting warmer," he admitted, wondering if she actually knew him, or if he was one of those actors that people knew, but had to go to IMDB to actually remember. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Lexi's grin only widened at the confirmation as well as his sheepish expression. Other young actors would have taken the chance to gloat about their fame or what have you, but this guy seemed different than those actors and Lexi liked that. There were far too many people around who felt a sense of entitlement. "Otherworldly. Am I right?" Lexi had even tried to make Stefan watch that.

"Well, I don't tell many people this, but The CW is one of my guilty pleasures. I watch and or DVR almost every show on it." Lexi had a feeling that her not so secret secret would be safe with this guy. Considering he didn't know anyone she knew, she didn't think he'd so blabbing about a fan, "So yeah, you could say that." She took another sip of her drink then glanced around briefly, "So, I thought all of you young actors always had a huge entourage around you. Or is that just the rappers who think they're cooler than they are?"

Lexi laughed at that and flipped her hair a little, "You won't believe the sorts of ridiculous entourages I've seen with various celebrities at my job." Sometimes there were celebrities who visited the parks with their families and maybe one or two body guards of some sort, but every now and then there was the younger celebrity who would show up with a ridiculous amount of people who were all obviously hangers on. So it was nice to see a celebrity out and about on his own.

Glancing at her almost empty drink, Lexi swallowed the last bit and placed her empty glass on a nearby surface, "A drink would be great. And I'm Lexi, by the way." She figured he should at least know who he was buying a drink for.

"Champagne is fine with me," Lexi had been drinking one of the holiday cocktails that was special on the menu for tonight, but she wasn't about to turn down champagne; especially so close to midnight. "I work at Disneyland. I'm a face character. I play Rapunzel and Sleeping Beauty." As she spoke, she smirked and pushed her own long blond hair over her shoulder. "So, I see a lot of ridiculous things when certain celebrities visit the parks."

Theodore hadn't meant to laugh. Not really. Face characters were a respectable acting gig.

"...I guess you would," he agreed, trying--and mostly failing--to hide his laughter. "I'm sorry, I just...did not expect that. I mean, when I lived in New York, every one was an actor or a dancer and on Broadway or Off-Broadway or Off-Off-Broadway. Here it's TV. Everyone's on TV. When you said you were in the business I just assumed TV."

Someone else might have gotten angry when Teddy laughed, but not Lexi. Yes, she enjoyed her job and yes, she was proud of her job, but she didn't take things too seriously. "Well, I have been in a few commercials. Nothing big, but the original plan was to become an actress." It had been awhile since she'd done those commercials, but Lexi had been quite busy with Disney and the dreams and her recent breakup and so much more that she hadn't really had any serious thoughts on what exactly she was going to do with her future. Of course, if she turned into a vampire then she'd have a lot of time to figure that out. "But I enjoy my job. I get to make people happy."
