The club was decked out in silver, blue and white for the Winter Wonderland themed New Year's Eve celebration. The DJ was playing a good selection of music and people were busy getting drunk and having a wonderful time with friends. And that was her intention, to create a fun safe place for people to ring in the New Year.

After several nights of dreams, Peter decided the best thing to do was to just stay awake as long as possible for tonight. His dreams skipped from one instance to the next. One moment, his mother was having his brother, the next, he was being led to the Needle. Now his life was moving in slow motion in the waking world and more quickly when he was asleep.

Tonight, though, he was just going to go out, have a drink or five, possibly find a pretty girl (or boy if he felt in that sort of mood), and he was going to stay awake until he could stand it any longer. If he passed out from the drink, maybe he wouldn't remember his dreams in the morning. He walked into the nightclub that was appropriately decorated and straightened the collar of his shirt, just to make sure it was still tidy. This was apparently the place to be.

Lucy had enjoyed Christmas, being with her brother and Caspian was wonderful and she'd invited her friend Peter over too when she'd found out he was going to be on his own. They'd all had a really nice day full of food, fun and laughter.

She'd decided to let Peter and Caspian have New Year together just the two of them so she headed out not really having a plan in mind. Then she remembered meeting a woman a while ago who owned a club so headed that way, thankfully having dressed up she hadn't been carded getting in. It was so different being here than back in the UK where she was legally allowed to drink anywhere in the country.

Entering she looked around, before heading to the bar she noticed a familiar face. "It seems fate is throwing us together" she said coming to a stop behind Peter with a smile.

It's funny how everything in the world seems to stop whenever the one person we can't stop thinking about is suddenly standing there, looking more beautiful than we remember. Peter's breath felt like it was caught in his throat when he saw Lucy, her smooth tendrils hanging at her slim shoulders, hair he wanted to sift his fingers in.

He cleared his throat and stepped close to her, his arms going around her. She was his friend, hugs were permitted, he hoped. "It does, doesn't it?" he said as he pulled away, his hand slipping into her dainty one. He moved far enough away to have a good look at her while still keeping her hand in his. "You look beautiful," he said. For his part, Peter hadn't dressed up very much. He'd just thrown a blazer on over his regular shirt and jeans, and now he felt downright under dressed.

Hugs were definitely permitted and she grinned as she returned the embrace blushing a little as his hand took hers and he complimented her, "Thank you. I thought I might as well dress up, I don't do it very often" Lucy wasn't really a girly girl, she was much comfier in her jeans but sometimes the occasion called for it.

"So how have you been?" she asked him, pleased beyond belief that she'd ran into him. This night was going to be much better now.

Kate didn't have anything else going on for New Year's Eve. The day after her birthday, she was in a good mood. And she was wearing her new arrow necklace--actually, she hadn't taken it off since Clint had given it to her--when she stepped into the club. It'd been cold lately, really cold, but that wasn't stopping Kate from wearing a tiny, silver dress. She was here to drink, to dance, and to try and get her mind off a crush. Silly boy. Taking up so much space in her head.

She came over to the bar to order another drink, and sidled up next to a familiar face. "Hey you." She had to raise her voice to be heard over the din. "Fancy meeting you here."

The gin in his pocket was gone and yet Peter didn't feel quite tipsy enough just yet. At the bar, he was thinking on what to order when Kate sided up to him. He laughed at how she had to raise her voice, then gave her a hug.

Sometimes after having a nice night of sex with someone, things got weird. With Kate, Peter was comfortable. He kissed her cheek. "Happy New Year!" he said, trying not to shout too loud. "Let me buy you a drink, young lady?"

Kate didn't do weird. She didn't do awkward. She just was, and she didn't let the drama in. Drama was for suckers. Kate wrapped an arm around him and cuddled in close--because that's how she was. Also, she may have been a little on the tipsy side. Not enough to get sloppy, just enough to get friendly.

"Absolutely!" Only an idiot would say no to a free drink with a sexy boy. "Whatever you're having!"

Justin and Billy had decided not to stay in on New Years Eve and having heard of Always on Valarnet before, they decided to check that out first. Things had been going well since Christmas and Justin had't had any more dreams recently, so so far it looked like the new year would be shaping up well and Justin hoped it stayed that way. It wasn't so much that Justin hoped he didn't have any more dreams, but that he hoped there weren't any more super dramatic ones like his bashing. He also still worried about Billy's dreams and Teddy. He knew that Billy and Teddy had talked and were going to be friends, but that didn't stop him from worrying.

But tonight wasn't a time to think about their dreams or any of the other crazy things that had happened because of the OC. It was a night to spend with Billy and celebrate ringing in the new year. "Wanna get a drink?" He asked after they'd gotten into the club and had taken everything in.

	Billy was feeling a lot better since Christmas and his and Teddy's agreement to try and be friends. He hadn't had any new dreams for a while either which meant that he felt like he could relax and enjoy the evening with Justin. "That description alone sounds like they've got to be good." Justin glanced around to figure out which direction the bar was as he held onto Billy's hand, "That way." He started leading the way towards the bar, getting the bartender's attention once they reached it and he looked over special menu of cocktails, "What do you want?" He asked, glancing at Billy as he got out his credit card to open up a tab for them.

Teddy was facing two firsts tonight. He'd had never been two Avalon before, and he'd never been without a date for New Year's Eve if he wanted one.

And yet, here he was, not at one of the celebrity functions he'd been invited to, but at a place he'd heard about on Valarnet. He hoped the fact that it was mentioned on Valarnet meant that he had a better chance of meeting someone who also dreamed, because that was now another thing he had to consider.

It was probably past ten when he found a place at the bar, and ordered champagne, because fuck it, it was New Year's.

Kate was stuffing her face. There was food, and she wanted it. A few drinks in already, she was feeling pretty good. Warm and fuzzy, inhibitions lowered. She was shoving some miniature egg rolls from the refreshment table into her mouth when she accidentally caught someone's eye.

A dopey grin crossed her features and she chewed, lifting one hand to cover her mouth. Kinda pig-like, but whatever.

"Sorry," she managed without spitting too much food out. (Besides, her hand was there, anyway...) "Can't help it. Geeting drunk gives me the munchies."

Kate had a flash of when she'd first met Billy, and he acted like he'd known her, too. That interaction led to a pretty awesome friendship, actually, so it made her smile. She broke into a grin, hand still over her mouth.

"Oh yeah?" She asked, then finished chewing and swallowing so she could lower her hand again. "Not exactly the most original pick-up line I've ever heard."

Quentin was still relatively new to the area and didn't have a lot of friends or things to do. It'd been a fairly lonely holiday this year, and was panning out to be a fairly lonely New Year's Eve on top of that. He wandered around the club, avoiding the dance floor, and made his way to the bar to order a glass of wine. He didn't want to get drunk tonight. Maybe a little tipsy, but this was more for social lubrication than anything else. What he wanted, though he hated admitting it, was some human contact. A conversation. Something to kickstart his brain back into running order before school started back up again. He'd spent a few says completely alone, reading in his apartment and drinking far too much hot tea. It'd been a revisiting of the Harry Potter series, and that always made him feel disconnected.

Chardonnay tonight. To start, anyway. It was New Years, and he didn't want to be drinking alone.

Quentin felt the eyes on him, but didn't turn. Situations like this made him feel a little uncomfortable. Not necessarly in a bad way, Quentin was simply unused to being the center of attention in social situations.

Once his glass was set on the bar in front of him, he finally turned to acknowledge the man who had given him some space. His face was vaguely familiar. "Happy New Year."

When Lexi had texted her friends to see if anyone wanted to hang out with her at Disney once she got off work, she hadn't actually expected anyone to bite considering it was only the day before New Year's Eve, so once she got home, Lexi had decided to get dressed up and head out to find some fun of her own. There were many clubs and bars in the area, but she had been to Always in the past and enjoyed it, so she decided to check out Faye's party that night. She'd spoken to the owner quite a few times, so she hoped to bump into her at some point.

Dressed in a purple and black corset top, tight black jeans and knee high boots, long blond hair loose, Lexi wandered around the club, drink in hand. She'd spent a couple of hours on the dance floor in random groups and was now wandering to see if there happened to be anyone there that she might know. As she wandered, she spotted a blond man who seemed familiar somehow so she decided to approach him. "Have we met before?" She asked, quirking her brow slightly as she tried to place him.

Hazel eyes looked him over, trying to figure out exactly where she had seen him before. He looked so familiar, but she'd met a lot of people over the last year or so who had seemed familiar and she had come to figure out later that it was because of Valarnet. However, she didn't think that was the case here. "And are you enjoying it?" Always wasn't like other clubs that Lexi had been to and that was one of the things that she enjoyed about it. She sipped her drink as she waited for the blond guy to answer.

Billy had gone to the bathroom while Justin got them more drinks, the club was really busy now and the music was loud. But it was fun, Billy was relaxed and a little tipsy which meant he was a bit unsteady on his feet. This led to him bumping into someone as he pushed through the crowd, "Sorry" he said before looking up, "Teddy!" he said in surprise, "I mean Ted, I didn't expect to see you here" but he was smiling.

Vala was really quite pleased with herself. The decor of the nightclub looked incredible, truly one of her better creations. She'd even taken pictures of the place before anyone had been let in so she could add them to her portfolio. Already feeling slightly buzzed from briefly popping over to Elizabeth's party, she was on the edge of the dance floor with a Martini in her hand and proudly watching the party going on.
