The club was decked out in silver, blue and white for the Winter Wonderland themed New Year's Eve celebration. The DJ was playing a good selection of music and people were busy getting drunk and having a wonderful time with friends. And that was her intention, to create a fun safe place for people to ring in the New Year.

Teddy nodded, automatically moving to place himself between Billy and the crowd, which was--well, that was something he would do in the Dreams. Here, it was usually Billy who got between him and everyone else, if needed.

He pursed his lips and ducked his head as he moved closer, trying to hear Billy over the din of the crowd and the music. "It was good and--hey," he laughed a little, smiled genuinely when he realized that he had absolutely no idea what Billy was thinking. "I can't..." he gestured between himself and Billy. "I guess the...thoughts thing...was temporary?"

	"Me too," Theodore replied, and smiled. "Not that I minded. It was...enlightening," he said, leaning down further. Which was when the ring fell out of his shirt. He'd put Billy's engagement ring on a chain, and tucked it beneath the collar of his shirt where it'd stayed all night, but now, naturally, when it'd chosen to appear. 	"I'm sure it was" Billy said then before he could say anything else he noticed the ring. Lifting his hand he took the ring between his fingers turning it around so it caught the light. "You're wearing it" he said softly before his eyes raised to Teddy's face. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Theodore's mouth opened and closed and he flushed, embarrassed at being caught. "Yeah," he admitted. "I didn't know you'd be here either," he added, quickly. "I'm sorry. It's just..." 	"Don't apologise. It's...sweet" Billy said, that wasn't the right word but it was all he could come up with right then. He tucked the ring back under Teddy's shirt and let his hand rest on his chest, "Happy New Year Ted" he said, since he doubted he'd see Teddy again in this crowd before midnight. 	The touch, light and casual as it might be, made Theodore's heart pound. "Happy New Year," he replied, slightly breathless. He'd had a good time, but now knowing that Billy and Justin were here, well...he didn't want to stick around to see Billy kissing Justin at midnight. "But I'm glad I saw you." 	"Yeah," Teddy agree, still unconsciously licking his lips as he studied Billy. "Can I--" he stopped, and then decided to simply do what he'd been wanting to do for some time, because when was he going to get another excuse to? 	Billy was surprised but didn't push Teddy away, "Happy New Year" he said breathily when Teddy moved back, "Thank you" he said hugging him quickly before stepping back and giving him a little wave before turning and heading to find Justin, fingers touching his lips as he did so.
