Daisy was wearing a Minnie Mouse Dress. She looked absolutely adorable with her dark hair down, curls falling around her shoulders, and the Minnie Mouse ears and bow sticking up from the top of her head. She was having a blast. There was breakfast at the Paradise Pier Hotel, where Mickey and Minnie gave surfing and dancing lessons to all the kids, then the whole gang headed over to Disneyland.

David was in the stroller, fast asleep with his Mickey Ears Beanie on his head. Severus didn't mind pushing it around. He was having a wonderful time watching Daisy running around with all of his friends and their children.

It was weird to realize that Severus Snape had friends. But there you have it.

He'd brought along with him Damon's cup and the other's he'd replicated for Damon to take to the other vampires, bottles and bottles of dreamless sleep potion to pass out amongst his friends (hopefully it would take the edge off for them during the party), some anti-nausea medication for Bella, and other odds and ends that he'd promised people. Severus was good on his word.

Now he was standing by the teacups, watching Daisy go around and around, laughing like a little maniac and holding her Minnie Ears frantically against her head.

As promised, Damon was there with the vampires, or vampires to be. Elena was firmly attached to his hand, although she seemed content talking with Bekah and their niece, Natalia. Stefan was close by, and Damon was still determined to get him on those teacups. He promised his brother he would by the end of the day. Really, he was in a great mood, as none of them had been affected by the latest OC plague.

"It looks like the girls are having fun," he said, watching the kids laugh. He did wish that he and Elena could have one. He thought she would be a great mother. Maybe the OC would make it possible, especially after turning them into vampires in the first place.

"Thanks for the cup. You've had a busy week." Damon appreciated the wizard's skill. He could be sarcastic and a little harsh, but when it came to friends, Damon was not a bad guy.

There were some pretty amazing people there to help Daisy celebrate her birthday. She'd developed a bit of a crush on Sev's friend Neal, and had likely just finished dragging him around by the hand to ride after ride. In September the lines were a little shorter than say, June, but not by too much. Most of the kids had gone back to school, so the parents were less likely to make a Disneyland trip. Less tourists, more locals. That was nice.

"It's all in the name of science. And magic." And helping people, Severus thought. He had to make his life valuable. It was something he strived for in this world and the Dream World. Only it felt like here there were more opportunities.

"Daisy is absolutely thrilled," he added, turning to watch where Damon was looking, nodding to the gaggle of moms, infants, children and friends who'd gathered.

Damon also appreciated the lack of tourists at the Park. They didn't need as many Fast Passes to get on the good rides either. He was enjoying himself, really. Quite different from the man he was two years ago that would not have been in Disneyland in the first place. Now he had a wife, and an extended family. He had a softer side that didn't mind staying out for awhile.

"I was going to try the cup on Caroline, but she isn't a vampire yet. I think it will go to Finn instead. He is struggling with the transition and the urges that go with it. If that goes well, I think we will need more. My brother in law accepts it a little better, but his instincts are a lot sharper. He's pretty crazy in the dreams." Kol was a borderline psychopath in the dreams, but Damon was being nicer about it, especially given their friendship.

"It's not a problem." Severus said, waving it off. No big deal. Sev loved the opportunity to test his magical skills, stretch his wand-arm. It was good practice, too, to replicate magical objects. Not Hogwarts-level practices, but things he learned about with extensive study. Restricted Section knowledge. "Just let me know when you need another. I can likely replicate it from memory." He'd have to find an appropriate vessel to charm, but that shouldn't be difficult.

"What do you mean by... pretty crazy?" Sev asked, mostly out of curiosity.

"Seriously though, it is a big deal, especially for the new vampires. I joke a lot, but I can control myself. This place could get really ugly with all the vampires coming up." Damon wasn't sure if he could keep that control when it came to the others. Hunting instincts were incredibly hard to control. However, Severus had never seemed like these projects were an imposition like the first wizard had. He seemed to enjoy them. As long as that was so, this was definitely a win for both teams, at least that was how Damon saw it.

"In dreams, my brother-in-law is a pretty cold-hearted killer. I've done some damage, but he is bad. So is Niklaus for that matter." He shook his head just thinking of those two. "Kol and Finn are both vampires now, and they got a little carried away and bit into a stranger."

It was a win on both sides. Severus was worried about growing bored in this world. After so many Dreams, so much change in his personality, the only thing he had going for him here and now were his children. And they were only with him half of the time. He needed something to keep him occupied the rest of it, or he might start to obsess. Like the Dreams. And here there was no Lily Evans to keep him on the right path.

"Is that something I should be concerned about?" Severus asked. Honestly, as long as they didn't hurt anyone he loved, Severus wasn't sure how much he should care about random strangers. He was selfish like that, and he knew that in these sorts of situations, collateral damage was unavoidable.

Damon had decided pretty early in that dealing with his dream persona and integrating it into his life was probably better than trying to work against him. He wasn't a bad guy, although his dream self had a different valuation of human life. He had Elena, who kept him content, and Stefan, who he would have to worry about, but he was stable.

"Well, no. More me than you really, at least immediately. Vampires are very attracted to blood though. Even a well fed one likes to tap a vein. I'm going to try and keep my relatives from snapping, pun intended. That may be a challenge." Then there were those times when just dealing with vampirism seemed completely unreal, even if he was one.

He wouldn't normally have joked about that sort of thing, but today he was in a good mood. A feisty mood. Something that normally never happened. Or almost never. Usually when she was in school and working there didn't seem to be enough time to plan anything. She would use any day that she had off spend time with Edward and Nessie. That would usually be at home or at a park as she didn't like the idea of losing Nessie in a crowd of people.

Although the crowd was still there but there was more people to keep an eye out. Plus she liked having Nessie around others her own age, at least near her own age. It wasn't that far off. Only by a couple of years. She didn't think that mattered with children as young as they were.

With a pair of Mickey Mouse ears on both of them, they walked through the park. Bella was pushing the stoller at the moment as Nessie wanted to walk.

Tink had come to the park with Neal. Thankfully, the potions that Severus distributed to those who were affected by the Curse Thingy had helped, and they were suffering a little less. Tink loved Disneyland. Mostly because... well, she was Tinkerbell. She knew who she was, and she'd seen those movies. (That was so weird.) Anyway. Not something she brought up too much or thought about too much, but she felt at home here.

She'd met Bella this morning at the Character Breakfast where they'd all sung to Daisy and watched her blow out the candles, and given her presents. Tink was pretty bad with names, but she remembered Bella. After all, Tink's birth name was Isabel, and she'd been called Belle or Bella a bit by her mother when she was young.

"Having fun?" She asked, catching up with the other woman. It'd be good to make new friends, right?

The small brunette grabbed onto her mother’s leg as being approached by the slightly familiar blonde woman. She didn’t remember as well as her mother did. It wasn’t like it was with the crowds just walking by. It was a strange lady coming up and talking to them.

Bella leaned down slightly and ran her fingers through her daughter’s hair that was sticking out from the Mickey Mouse hat.

“Yes, we are,” she said as she smiled up from looking down at Nessie.

She couldn’t exactly remember the woman’s name but she remembered her from the breakfast. “We were just going to see the spinning tea cups.”

"Oh, really?" Tink asked, her grin spreading a bit widder. "You don't think it's too fast? Too... spinny?" She asked, mostly playfully. A bunch of the group of friends, including Daisy the birthday girl herself, had already gone on the Teacups. But Tink had run off to the bathroom while Neal and Daisy went on the ride, so she'd missed it.

"...I mean, it's a pretty awesome ride."

Severus turns at the sight--well, more the feel--of James stepping up. He lifts a hand and gently claps James' shoulder, giving the other man a smile. A small one. Severus is happier today than practically every day he's had his entire life, but he's still Severus Snape. Not exactly full of sunshine and rainbows.

But pleasant and happy today, at any rate. "You can see." He motions toward where Daisy is on the ride nestled between Neal and Damon, laughing her head off. Her dark hair flips around her face, and the new doll she received from James that morning is clutched tightly in her hands. "I imagine she'll sleep with it tonight."

Severus chuckles softly, shaking his head. Of course, he assumes that everyone knows how easy a four year old girl is to shop for. He took for granted that a lot of his friends had no idea. Pink and Barbie (and all of those cartoon ponies) are foreign to the likes of Damon, James and Neal. But to Severus Snape it's just another way to go about things.

"It was very kind of you to get her her new favorite toy." He added. Then the baby starts to fuss. Severus movs to the front of the stroller and pulls David out of his seatbelt.
