D’Artagnan took the job with the Agency. Sharon was on her own again in the department, and it wasn’t fun. Too many old badges with grudges against women detectives, against young detectives, and let’s face it, that was Sharon. It was a double whammy. She had to prove herself every day, and that meant pushing herself harder, longer hours, more training. It was enough to break a normal girl, but Sharon was strong. She was resilient. She still didn’t know what she was going to do, but it involved lots of jogging, and lots of thinking. After a five mile run, she headed to the drinking fountain to drink, and found herself thinking about Regulus. She should send him a note. Just check in. He was one of the few friends she had around here who wasn’t attached to her work situation. Or her Dreams. They were getting more bizarre.

Katniss had taken to running lately. IT was one of the only things that tired her out enough to get a few hours of sleep. And with it being summer and not having school, she could find a schedule that worked for her. As much as any did. She wasn't eating properly, missing meals, no appetitte and feeling nauseous. At least running made her body tell her that she had to eat, so much so that she couldn't ignore it. That and drink.

Stopping from her hard run, she leaned forward, hands on her knees and tried to catch her breath while she waited for the fountain to become available.

	Sharon finished up at the drinking fountain and turned around. She saw a dark-haired, teenage girl bending over and putting her head on her knees. Sharon was instantly concerned, and moved to the girl's side. "Are you all right?" (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Sharon moved away at the wave. She wasn't about to press where she wasn't wanted or needed. She'd spent so much time as a police officer in her life and in her Dreams that she couldn't shake the need to serve and protect. "Oh, well, as long as you're sure." 	Katniss took a long slurp from the fountain, trying not to take too much in and risk throwing up what little breakfast she'd managed to force down that morning. Standing up, she gasped, feeling slightly more refreshed. "Sorry, I'm not good with...people helping," she told the woman lamely. "And thank you," she told her with a little smile. "It's not refusing help if there's nothing anyone can do to help," Katniss pointed out, a seemingly rational viewpoint to her. She put her hands on her hips and leant her head back with her eyes closed as she took a few deep breaths. "The only person who may have been able to help left me here to deal on my own, so here I am...dealing," she held her arms out and looked at the other woman.
