Re: Abigail || Mischa
Mischa's brow momentarily furrowed at what she read as Abigail's bashfulness? Oh dear, had she been too forward with the young woman? Still Mischa smiled and squeezed Abigail's hand encouragingly before releasing her hands back to her custody.
"You wear it beautifully. For a moment I thought myself back in Paris," she bubbled warmly before picking two champagne flutes off the tray for herself and Abigail. "I have been busy with the close of the semester and holiday orders, but well enough," she answers offering a flute to Abigail. "Thank you for asking."
There was no denying there existed an unspoken awkwardness between the two women, who were still very much strangers connected by their love of Hannibal. Although, Mischa did not wish to acknowledge it, she was more or less bewildered as how to bridge the distance, but had resolved herself to be loving, patient, and supportive presence to the young woman.
"How did your school year progress? Have you made plans for your summer holiday?"
