Who: David and Jarvis.
What: A chat.
When: March 15th.
Where: Jarvis's home.
Rating: Low.
Status: In Progress.

Honestly, Jarvis is more than happy to indulge David's questions about the dream world. He can't blame him, after all. It's something that men like them hope to achieve their entire careers, flawless artificial intelligences.

Saturdays are quiet days, so Jarvis invites David over for a talk over coffee or tea. At the sound of his guest arriving, he answers the door with a smile.

"Hello, Mr. Weyland." Jarvis paused, then gave David an apologetic smile. "David, I mean. I'm sorry. Sometimes the formality slips. Please, come in." He steps aside to let the other man in, and closes the door behind him.

"You are too kind. Anyway, I'm not sure my dream counterpart is entirely emotionless. If that makes sense?"

Jarvis gets out some mugs for their tea. "He's not on a human scale of course but there's fondness, if nothing else."

"I'd certainly like to think that robots and AI, on a certain level, are capable of some basic emotions. Fondness. Perhaps anger. It can all be taught, we just have to get there."

"Artificial intelligence seems to be on your mind quite a lot lately. Would it have anything to do with this project of yours?" Jarvis teases.

"Or is that top secret information you're not allowed to let leak to your competitors?"

"It might, at that. You know my work has to do with artificial intelligence and robotics, so that isn't anything new. It's just the specifics I'm not allowed to share."

"I suppose my own curiosity has just increased a but due to my dreams. I understand how it all works, of course, but I may need to defer you if I need clarification on anything. My expertise lies more in the manufacturing of things rather than the system that runs it."

"Of course I'd be more than happy to help you better understand your drams. Though I admit, it is for slightly selfish reasons."

"Trying to further your research at my expense, hmm?" Jarvis is teasing, of course. He looks amused as he sits at the table, setting out their tea and letting his steep.

"How are you, by the way? I failed to inquire."
