Permanently injured would have been far worse. The injuries did look bad and Padme stopped herself from wincing when Rachel walked in and looked battered. Once the handshake was over she gestured to the chair so Rachel could take a seat, "You doing alright? I don't want to keep you too long if you're in pain.
