Who: Zelda and OPEN TO EVERYONE! (all of Zelda's friends, business associates, casual acquaintances...)
When: Sept 26, evening
Where: Hyrule Ballroom
What: ZELDA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY!
Rating/Warning: Low/None (so far, TBD!)
Status: In Progress
Inside of the largest and fanciest Hyrule Hotel, there was a long line of people waiting outside of the ballroom for ID checks and guest list checks, some pleading with bouncers to let them in. Out of perhaps a hundred people, only a couple were let in at a time. A couple of girls were pulled away in tears, calling out "but I'm her biggest fan! Zelda, I love you!" before they were unceremoniously kicked to the curb and refused admittance to the hotel, not just the ballroom.
The lobby was decorated as the ballroom was, only slightly less so. There were giant, plastic candies littering the floor near the seating area, and posters with candy wrappers blown up to giant sizes on the walls. Inside the Ballroom things went a little crazy. The same giant candies and wrapper posters were everywhere, along with balloons and streamers of every color. A band was playing up on stage, and hundreds of people were mingling. A table took up one whole wall, and was covered with presents wrapped in bright and shining paper. Zelda was planning on donating the lot of the presents, and writing thank-you notes to everyone who brought a gift.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. There were two huge, long banquet tables covered in candy-themed foods from appetizers to main courses, and another table covered in desserts. Cupcakes and fruit platters, chocolate fountains and pound cake. Not to mention every candy known to man.
Zelda had been surrounded by people for most of the night. She was offered food and drink, and was laughing and joking around with her guests.
