Where: At a park
When: today!
RAting: Pg-13 to start
Warning: None. Yet.

Bellatrix fanned herself as she walked. While it was warm outside, she was still wearing a heavy black outfit. Because that's how Bellatrix rolled. There were no more of those things to hex and kill, and she had been bored every since. It had been wonderful to get her aggressions out. Just wonderful.

She hugged her self, muttering as she walked along.

"Exactly! It's an open secret but I'm not exactly the most faithful person in my family," she said, folding her arms and frowning. "I..don't know if I ever was. I saw evil at a very young age."

"I have trouble with that myself." Gabriel might as well be honest here. "I wasn't touched by it that young, but I've seen quite a bit of it. It makes you cynical. I know that God exists because I've met and seen him in the dreams, but even so...I'm getting the idea that God's a bastard."

"Great. Wonder if we could convince Caprica of that." Her foster sister, the woman she loved. Hell she was going to have the woman's baby for her just to be close. Bellatrix had resolved herself to never being completely happy again.

"It'd depend I guess on what the evidence is and where it points. I mean to me it's pretty clear, and you've seen shit, so you know that, but..." Gabriel shook his head a little.

"The thing I'm starting to see with most people? They don't always want to face what they know is true when it's unpleasant or messed up for them. Most of your standard humans are pretty hopeful, which isn't a bad thing, but, I don't know." he frowned. "It can get that way when some of it becomes just BLIND hope or refusing to look at what's there."

Sometimes. he was finding, through the continued dreams of being Loki, and trying to get humans to see the truth of a situation, it was impossible to teach them, even though he wanted desperately to do that much. Things like that got hard sometimes, and pretty frustrating.

Bellatrix made a scoffing sound. "Caprica is the truest of the true believers. Maybe if she had a dose of the truth, maybe she'd realize there are more important things than the family name."

It wasn't likely.

"Maybe." Gabriel agreed, then paused, in thought. "I wonder how much of the Trickster I could be here. now. It's an option if it means opening somebody's eyes and shouldn't hurt her. I might actually be ready."

It was dangerous. It sounded dangerous. Bellatrix wasn't ready for that. She didn't know if opening Caprica's eyes would do more harm than good. Not yet.

"Practice. And when you have it perfected, perhaps then..."

"I'll let you know. "Gabriel agreed. 'I don't want to actually HURT anybody. More like...show them the realities and things. It's a goal, I guess." He sort of liked the idea of bringing some kind of enlightenment. Was that messed up?

Bellatrix had worked so hard to shield Caprica from her father..she wouldn't expose her to it, even for a little bit. "It's all buggered anyhow."

"Thats true, really." Gabriel agreed. "I'm starting to think that's how life goes. Stuff seems great but it's really just screwed up. It's not really FAIR but..."

"No, it's not fair. Nothing's ever fair." Bellatrix whispered, eyes narrowing. If they didn't leave her, she tormented and turned them away. If she loved them, their love was shallow, non-existent.

Caprica could tell her up down left and sideways that she loved her. But her actions.....and if Bella spoke up...she knew that Caprica would accuse her of being selfish. And what if she was? Couldn't she be selfish for once in her waking life??

"No. it's not." Gabriel agreed, shaking his head. "I hate it, I really do, how we all screw each other over, make things worse. There's so much wrong with this world. I wish I knew what'd make it right."

"I already started with one thing." Bellatrix smiled lazily, spinning her wand around as she remembered how she'd tortured and killed her father.

"Oh?" Gabriel asked, not sure if he liked the smile. "Well, I guess that IS a start."

"Can I call on you to do something..angelic sometime? Nothing mind-melting. She'd just never believe this."

"I could do the angelic thing too, definitely." Gabriel thought anyway. He'd recently found out he had an angelic form, and was starting to feel cramped in his body and limited and had developed a small number of his abilities. "Something along the lines of me visiting the virgin Mary?" he suggested.

She grinned, eyes sparkling with madness and glee. "I think you should pay Caprica a visit. After I tell her you're coming."

"That sounds like fun." Gabriel agreed. "I don't have to do anything but appear and say who I am and it should be interesting enough. I can even throw in the touched by an angel, heavenly light thing. It's not really how we operate but..."

"Shake." Gabriel agreed, taking her hand and clasping it a moment before shaking, the way deals were settled in the old days. Somehow, it felt binding.
