Who: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Loras Tyrell
What: Following THIS, Obi-Wan and Loras exchange stories over coffee.
When: Friday, Late Morning
Where: Loras's Home
Status: In progress
Rating: TBD
The morning hadn't gone as planned for either one of them. Loras had undoubtedly expected he would be teaching a lesson, and Obi-Wan had not left the house this morning with any intention of showing off his newly acquired Jedi ninja skills. But a lesson had not been given, and minutes ago Obi-Wan had all but performed an elaborate dance with a impromptu lightsaber bo staff.
What followed was a stand-off, both men determined to prove who was the more stubborn. Obi-Wan lost. Or rather, he had conceded, preferring not to burn yet another bridge in favor of what might potentially be a normal relationship. [About this, Obi-Wan knew that Loras had somewhat different intentions, but this more amused him than made him uncomfortable. Though it wasn't something that came up in everyday conversation, it was a situation Obi-Wan was more familiar with than one might expect. Loras reminded him very much of the Tarts back at Eton College. And although he had never been nor made use of a tart, he knew how to maneuver among them.]
To make up for his ban manners, Obi-Wan had invited the younger man to coffee, to which Loras had replied: "I hope you weren't planning on going out..." He led the way into the kitchen.
Obi-Wan followed. "As long as you aren't planning to sneak me ginseng tea instead," he replied, because, honestly, that was the sort of thing he assumed Loras drank. "I need caffeine, or I'll become grumpy. Grumpier."
ooc: I have to say, I highly recommend you read the thread this is bouncing off of. It got pushed pretty far down with the holiday weekend and all. It turned out to be very interesting. Not to toot my own horn, mind you. XD
