The girl raced through the streets of Orange County searchng, always searching for that which she'd lost. She muttered to herself as she ran. Parts of it weren't really intelligible, but it was a constant refrain.

"On my birthday.. a ring.. my own.. my precious.. must find."

Nothing would stand in her way. Innocent bystanders were pushed aside as she moved if they were in the way.

The girl stopped at a shop. There it was in a picture on the sign outside. It was the ring, she one she'd been looking for for so long she couldn't even remember the passage of time. Time had been wasted harassing Baggins and he didn't even have it? It was here?

The girl who was not Katniss at the moment raced into the shop after it and was brought up short. There were dozens of them, all sitting in a glass case. Without a though, her fist came down to smash the case. She didn't care that her hand was bleeding and the shrill of the alarm as well as the cries of the shopkeeper. She reached into the case and slipped one of the rings on her finger. Nothing. Nothing. Ring after ring she tried and they were all the same. Fakes. Phonies.

"Where is it?" she shrieked at the shopkeeper, advancing toward him with a menacing glare. She would kill him with her bare hands for this.

	Thor had an answer for this as he pulled the not-Katniss closer. Years of honing his mind snapped an answer out suddenly. "Are you trying to tell me you're a fish? You're wriggly enough to be one." He sighed as he started trying to get them out of the store. Maybe he could find some help to figure out what was going on. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Gollum ignore the question, continued to speak in riddles. Why should he tell this man who he was?

"It cannot be seen, cannot be felt,
Cannot be heard, cannot be smelt.

Ends life, kills laughter."

As he spoke, he continued his attempts to get free, but the big blond's grip was too strong.

	Thor sighed and looped his beltchain around the woman, gently but firmly, tying it close. "Darkness wont save you either. Come. We must to go where others can help me find a way to free that which you have stolen." And he led the way out, to fly this possessor to Urdnot Ranch and find out what the heck was going on...
