Voicemail Left for All Staff of Rainbow Motors Repair
A pause...

So, uhh, this is Dean. I'm calling everyone at the same time so I can say it once without screwing it up. Sorry for the voicemail thing. I had a friend show me how to go direct to the box. Here's hoping you all check your voicemail.

Dead air for twenty seconds followed by an exasperated sigh.

I own the shop.

That's the gist of it.

A family friend---I need to be able to take care of my family. Me and Claire got a baby on the way. I've been managing the place since my old man was around. It's a good thing. Don't panic. I promise I won't run us out of business just because my name's on the deed now. I been running Rainbow Motors Repair without getting the credit. I didn't want to say anything until the ink was dry on the paper.

That happened today.

It's official.

What I need from you guys is to text me what hours you want to work and I'll try to work on scheduling, okay?

It's my show now. Officially. That means I get all the leeway I never had before to try to make your lives easier. Darling is working four tens and taking every other weekend for small motors. I need a guaranteed guy for general motors to cover me every other weekend. I'll still pull my weight. I just---I gotta be home at a decent hour now. I have people counting on me. I hope no one quits on me.

Thanks. You're great guys.

Really.

Anyway. Text me.
