Well, no. It's a substance that mages use, in small quantities, to enhance their magic and form a stronger connection to the Fade. But too much exposure can cause a lot of problems so there's a balance.

It's just that I lost my left arm, and having a prosthetic infused with lyrium carries a few risks but it also will help me cast with that arm like I used to. So I feel like myself again. That's what I'll be using it for.

	I'll be okay, if I don't wear it all the time. I'll have to take it off and wear something normal if I start getting dizzy but it'll be fine. Mostly I just want to be able to have a prosthetic that will enhance my magic in fight situations and let me use my staffs. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
