Hey everybody! While realizing earlier that I should write my pups birthdays down, I remembered doing this elsewhere, ages back and figured it’d be a fun kind of experiment for alla y’all to get involved in.

Hey kids :D
So.. I had an idea for a plot, though this is a little more.. extensive. And by extensive I don't mean like it's complicated.. far from it, but it requires some icon hunting.
This plot is simply that.. everyone becomes a cartoon. Kinda like being in Roger Rabbit in a way. That's where the hard part is. Not everyone's got cartoon counterparts, and stuff like that. So it's totally optional if you want to play. But basically.. the world is cartoonish, meaning you can fall off a cliff, and get back up two seconds later with the only thing that happens is that you turn into an accordion for a couple of moments.
You can blow yourself up and come right back to life. You can paint a cave on the side of the road and have a train actually come through. You know, the outlandish stuff.
We wouldn't do this for a couple of weeks, just to make sure everyone has time to get icons. If your character is a real person like from a tv show, maybe try looking for a cartoon/comic character that kinda looks like them? And having cartoon icons isn't necessary the important part is the plot. So don't like panic if you can't find anything. Though I think it would be funny if we could all assume that everyone looks like a cartoon, you know.. shit like that. They would definitely know they've suddenly gone all cartoony.
I've rambled a lot as usual. So.. yay? Nay? Move onto something else? |

Okay! So the Emo-Sex plot will be Friday May 1st to Friday May 8th! Thanks for not tying this time!
So here's the deal. Desire of the Endless has decided that he/she's going to mess with people. He/She has his/her reasons, but it all boils down to this: Pups with low serotonin levels will find themselves feeling pretty horny.
Mainly this means people who are depressed/emo/angsty. Since it's based on the neurotransmitter, though, it could also affect people who are obsessive-compulsive, anorexic, insomniacs, pups who are trying to quit smoking, or even someone who just ate a lot of turkey (Whee tryptophan!)
The idea of this plot is to give you a chance to get some of your emo pups out of their ruts. It isn't compulsory. We just want you to have fun!
People will not be driven to commit any kind of sexual violence, and shouldn't be compelled to do something they would never do. We don't want people feeling even worse after they wake up in bed next to their sister (Maximoffs excluded, of course).
The horniness might manifest in other ways.. Someone who has taken a vow of chastity might interpret it as extreme euphoria, and see it as some sort of spiritual experience. The whole thing is pretty open. Just have fun with it! |

In celebration of Easter/Passover/Spring Equinox/Life Day/whatever ("But Mandy, Everyone knows that Life Day = Christmas, not Easter!" "Nobody likes a Know-It-All, Jack.") I bring you plot!
This plot is inspired by Christopher Moore's novel "Lust Lizard of Pine Cove". ( Plot spoilers )
Okay, how it's gonna work. Depressed people (mild to severe) will get horny. There won't be any sexual assault or anything--it doesn't drive them to violence. If they get turned down, they'd probably go to the next person, or just go home for some mucho masturbation. In short? This is a crack plot. An anti-emo plot, if you will. Don't make it emo!
Random pairings can happen. New couples can happen, or they can forget about it at the end of the week. It's not mandatory, but it should be a fun way to get your pups out of the dumps.
It'll probably happen in three or four weeks, if people like the idea.

The super powers plot is over
No more genetic boogaloo I'm afraid. Everyone shall return to normal at the pace they want unless you want your characters to keep your powers. They can but y'know it's a permanent thing. Meaning that they don't have to just abruptly end, the powers can fade over the next couple of days or however you want. Just no new ones. Well until the next time we randomly do something. |

Okay, the Purifiers Plot is ending tonight! Obviously you can continue logs, but there won't be any new kidnapping. All of the different cells and holding places will be liberated by whichever rescue teams went in. Everybody will be freed tonight.

A NEW SURPRISE PLOT IS STARTING IN FOUR DAYS!!!
(This plot was brought to you by Jack, and most of the following words are his.)
As it happens, the reason the Purifiers were doing all of this was to gain genetic material on the various metas wandering around: the mutant gene is well documented, but other forms of superhumanity aren't. They have a device, basically a genetic bomb that targets mutants, and with more and more information, they can target other metas too. Even gods and other divine beings, which they consider to be "imitators." Torture and murder were a fringe benefit.
Tonight, they activate the gene bomb, but nothing happens. Well, something happens. All the lights go off and everything looks to happen the way the Purifiers expect, but no one dies. Alarmed that something has gone wrong, and aware that their entire organization is about to go belly-up, they scatter. Most of them never cause any trouble again, and a lot of them end up rounded up by cops, mutant groups, X-people, etc.
Now, on Friday, more and more people start developing powers. NPCs, PCs, everyone. Everyone. Even people that already have powers. The reason? Everyone on the planet is now a mutant. Whether the powers actually develop is up to the individual player, but the potential is there. It can be anything from flight to teleportation to psychic powers to always having minty fresh breath or being able to clean the windows with your mind.
It's only temporary, as the body doesn't usually want to have its entire genetic code changed, and will fight back. Some people may keep the powers, but most of them won't. It's basically the reverse of M-Day. Call it M-Day 2: Genetic Boogaloo.
Everyone (And I mean everyone!) is getting a super power. This is one of our rare non-optional plots. But we think it's gonna be fun for everybody! Who wouldn't want superpowers?
If you can't think of a superpower, or if you just enjoy things being random, email your friendly neighborhood mods and we will think of a random superpower for your pup. It'll be fun! You have until Friday to think of powers for all of your pups! |

Okay, so it's plot time! Feel free to start the kidnapping, etc. It'll go through Monday about this time.
Again, a reminder to talk to other muns and make sure they are okay with your pup getting kidnapped if you have CR with them! Some muns/people might not be up for the angst.
Go forth and plot! Have fun everybody!
edit; Because some people are confused.. Some possible ideas for how you can play this out if you want!
*You could play out scenes of two people that have been kidnapped, talking to eachother in a cell or shackles or whatever.
*Anybody can NPC the purifiers in logs, if you want to have a scene between the kidnappers and the kidnapees. Some Purifiers are the classic X-Men style Purifiers, but a lot of them will be 'recruits'... Any old Joe off the street who happens to be a prejudiced asshole. You don't have to know X-Men to play in this plot, or to NPC a Purifier.

*If you want to have one of your pups be recruited by the Purifiers, it would be a good idea to email me and Jewels first. You can certainly do this, but keep in mind that they will have a LOT of pissed off pups to deal with on Monday, most of them with superpowers! There will be IC consequences, and it might not be fun.
If you have any other questions, you can talk to me and Jewels or Panther. Or anybody, really! Your fellow players probably have some great ideas. |

Purifier plot starts on Thursday. Really, any mutant/powered pup/magic pup/whatever is up for grabs. "Traitors" (Those that sympathize/fraternize with mutants etc) are also potential victims. Kidnapping, brainwashing, etc.etc. Go crazy.
HERE IS THE IMPORTANT PART!
You absolutely 100% HAVE to communicate to muns that your pup has CR with before you have your pup get kidnapped. Somebody might not want their spouse/child/whatever getting kidnapped. Make sure everyone is okay with it before you sign your pups up for torture, or there will be problems! |

So Panther had an idea for a plot involving another time warp:
Hokay, so we've got this plot idea. I know we've done something similar in the past, but it's been a while since we had any good crack, and it was fun times the last time.
There is a disturbance in the time field. Someone is wiggling the bowl of timey-wimey stuff, and odd things are happening because of it. Some people are unaffected, for one reason or another, and some are jetted back in their own timeline to the time when they were babies. Some people may become actual ancestors, with no memories of their current life. This works the other way too, with people becoming older (and having the memories of a whole life lived, instead of just being physically older), or even becoming their descendants from ten generations in the future.
When the plot ends some pups will remember it happened, some won't (at the mun's discretion). It will last about a week, though if you want your character to be stuck as whatever time warped version of themselves you choose, feel free.

Hey guys! We've got a possible plot idea and I want to know what you guys think. This especially affects muns of mutants and other powered-types, so READ THIS!
Without getting into too many details, this would be a temporary (two weeks or so) NPC appearance of the Purifiers, a very anti-mutant group. There would be kidnapping, torture and probably murder and/or murder attempts on mutants (obviously you would have to volunteer pups for this).
This is pretty dark stuff, so we would like to hear from all the mutant muns before we decide to do this. Basically a 'speak now or forever hold your peace' sorta deal. Let me know what you think. I want to hear your opinions. Hate it? Love it? Let us know. Comments are screened for mods eyes only, so go crazy. Tell us about your sex lives, your crazy family, or just throw in a lot of random profanity. We won't tell.
But really, we want to hear from everybody. Even if you don't have any mutant pups, your opinions are still welcome. This is a 100% drama-free safe space for comments. |

Hey guys! I'm getting ready to start emailing people with who they're supposed to propose to. A couple quick things.
1.) Remember, your characters are totally and completely in love with this person! It can be madly-passionately, or so sweet it gives you cavities, but they're all going to say yes.
2.) It was completely random, and same-sex marriage is legal here. That means there's a good chance that some of your straight pups is going to wind up with someone of their own gender. Same rules still apply. You'll just have to put aside their normal preferences, and play the plot. It's a short plot, and nobody's forcing you to log slash if you're not comfortable.
3.) If you aren't familiar with the pup that you're paired with--Get to know them! Check out their wiki (real, or ours) or--better yet--talk to the mun! Might be someone new you've never talked to before. That's part of the idea. (No, you can't request a change. It took a long time to make this list, and by signing up for this plot, you agreed to random assignment by mods.)
4.) If you get an email, please try to get your proposals done today. I realize this isn't 100% possible, but remember that if you don't play in this plot, that means your 'partner' can't play. I know some people are going to be slow, but at least try to get the first part done.
5.) Any questions? Don't know the email of the mun you're paired with? Ask us. You didn't get an email and didn't get a proposal? Ask us. Jewels has a copy of the list too, so if I'm not at the computer at that moment, she can answer too.
***If you're waiting on a proposal and your person never pops the question, we'll try to get in touch with that mun. If it's mid-Sunday and they haven't proposed or gotten back to us, we'll try to pair you up with someone else who is waiting, too. We want everybody to be able to participate.
Okay, it starts as soon as you get your email and people start proposing! I know it's a little bit of a late start. (Making the list took longer than I thought.) If you want to go a little longer, into Tuesday, that's fine. Just make sure everything's wrapped up on Wednesday, at the latest.

Hey everybody! I have a really super-fast little miniplot that is coming up THIS WEEKEND! Yes, I know it's really fast and sudden, but I think we can have a little fun with it.
Marriage Plot!
Very silly, very crack. Here's how it's gonna work! If you want to participate Comment to this post with the pups you want in!! Jewels and I will randomly pair them up. We will then email ONE of each pair, telling them who they are supposed to propose to. If you don't get an email, someone's going to propose to your pup, and it's totally a surprise! It will be lots of fun, and lots of crack!
After the proposals, there will be mass weddings on Sunday and Monday. Pups will be magically in love (Think the Buffy episode where Spike and Buffy are getting married), but it'll wear off on Tuesday.
Catch is, if you want to participate, you have to let us do the random picking. It'll be fun, and you might get to meet people you haven't played with. On Tuesday, they'll find out the marriages weren't legally binding, and all will go back to normal.
It will be Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

| Apocalyptic Plot - Finale details |

Ladies and Gentlemen! Children of all ages! Step right up for the details of the finale to the Apocalyptic Plot!
This evening, somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 or 4 PM, Pacific time, the final scene will be posted up as Superman, aka Clark Kent, catches up with the bad guy.
Y'see, Pocky Lips went and pissed off Supes, and Clark, well, while he doesn't like to kill, has been working on a viable solution. Which will finally be done tonight.
When he manages to catch up to Apocalypse, the tyrant's teleporter device will have been damaged and Apocalypse, free ranging devil that he is, will not be so happy about this, and doing some big time damage. Superman, to end it, will use the weapon he has wielded before in times of great need, the Phantom Zone Projector invented by his father.
This weapon will send Apocalypse into the Phantom Zone, a dimension from which he can't escape... until such a time as the Mods decide the world could use more evil, that is.
Once that is up, feel free to have reactions, end stories, and such not, and remember that you can still do logs set before that for as long as you need to! Bendy-time is fun! And fun is what this is all about!

Okay, slightly belated details on the Apocalypse plot.
Logan had been hunting for Gambit, and found him around 11pm. Called everyone there. Commence huge fight. Jean's gameplan involved three parts.. One in which she did something to Remy's mind, one where Emma worked on separating Death and Gambit, and one where everyone else fought Death as soon as he manifest. Much chaos.
Which became even more chaotic at midnight when Apocalypse blinked into existence. (Separating Death and Remy gave him an opening, comic book physics, etc.etc.)
So! Apocalypse is unleashed, which means chaos and destruction anywhere. Feel free to have pups witness things be destroyed. Not much of an ultimate goal here, just destruction. Lots of NPC death, I'm sure. Doom all around.
Feel free to log parts of the fight, accompanying destruction, whatever you want to do. We're not doing a mass log because it would be insane to try and get everyone together and organized enough to work it, but that doesn't mean you can't play out parts of it. Feel free to have people separated, or just so distracted with what their small group is doing because of the chaos.
But yes! Apocalypse is now officially fucking shit up. Post accordingly.

Okay! Like Josie mentioned, the game is getting a little visit from Apocalypse. This spells MUCH DESTRUCTION for the game, including at least one toppled parking garage. (We'll have Sharon post about that soon.)
It's going down soon! Starting Friday, and going through to early next week. I know some people do the Superbowl thing, so we'll give you a couple extra days to clean up. We can go through till Tuesday (When you'll probably be distracted by Mardi Gras).
Jean is assembling a team to fight him.. (Well, they're meant to help Remy, but they will turn into an attack team, I'm sure). And if you want your pups to be in that parking garage, you should talk to Sharon. That's her baby. There are also lots and LOTS of places and ways for your pups to get injured, so just go wild. |

We're gonna get things started right off the bat. Remember the Plotty Plotty Plot Plot?? Where all the different plots are condensed into one, happening sporadically across the game? We're gonna do that.
Plots to choose from:
OOC Plot - Where people act totally opposite from normal.
Personality Swap - Where they act like someone else.
Meteor/Powers - Where people get random powers. No rocks this time, just random.
Musical - Where people burst into song.
Kid Plot - Where people change age.
Naked Plot - Where people get naked!
Powerless Plot - Where people lose their powers.
We're not including the Halloween Plot (because people don't usually wear costumes) or the Silent Hill Plot (because that's really an area effect..).
Here's the plan! Starting this Friday (Jan 11) and continuing until next Friday (Jan 19) there will be crazy plotplot. We thought we'd do a whole week, since there's so much potential. If those days don't work at all for you, let us know. We're willing to change it, if people really don't like those days. |
