This one's real simple, peoples:
Name one HORRIBLE thing a fanwork has done to your character... by denying it utterly.
The examples are as follows:
Jack Sparrow: I've never had sex with any've th' following people, Davy Jones, Callisto (maybe Tia, maybe), Cutler Beckett, Barbossa, Will, Elizabeth (sadly) or any member've any've my crews ever. ('cept for Bill)

Johanna Barker: I ran away with Antony to get away from Turpin, not because I wanted to play hard-to-get and have Turpin catch me and ravish me. I shudder to think what would happen if this were the case.
Furthermore I most certainly did not want to sleep with the Beadle Bamford, Mr. Todd, Mrs. Lovett or anyone, really, except for Antony.

Hi everyone! Tis me, Lilly, with a new character. A chick! Wah-hey!
This is Maudie Stevens, from the short story Maudie, Revelations of Life in London Society. She is a well brought up, well educated, and well read hooker of sorts. See, she had a father who was rich and a rich family who paid her off not to mention the baby she was having with their son. So, she used the money from both events (the baby being put up for adoption after) to get a house in the country where she could give in to any whim and desire she liked. She likes nude photos and flirting, and she is fanciful, loves love, and can get away with a lot because she is rather charming and caring and quick thinking.
