WHAT: Getting to know each other
WHERE: A restaurant nearby
WARNINGS: Doubt it.
Simon got to the agreed-upon restaurant a few minutes late, tired and irritated. The stuffed-shirt at County General would only offer him the position of an assistant. He, who'd gotten top credentials from the Ariel Medacad! He, who'd basically been a combat medic and done things the hospital administrator would barely even contemplate. Assistant!
Still, he tried to calm down and present a good face to Dr. Reid. He didn't want to look angry or upset; Reid hadn't done anything. Hopefully he wasn't keeping the man waiting. |
