Navi loved being human. She liked being able to fly still, and that was a large part of it; it was entirely possible that she wouldn't have liked being human as much if she wasn't able to fly. But she was, and she was able to have Alec too. Everything was pretty much perfect.
She felt relaxed and languid, like all her muscles were made of some sort of warm liquid instead of flesh. "Mmm. You think so, that's what matters." She let him tilt her head back, giggling a little when she stood up. "That guy you beat is probably so mad right now." She giggled a little more, then wrapped her arms around Alec and kissed him again. "I don't care too much, I'm just saying. Maybe I can do you when we get home? Oh, and what do you like on your pizza?" There was still so much to learn about him, which was the part that excited her most.
