Navi was fluttering above the skyline, humming to herself. She'd gone to the store to get clothes would work for Going Out To Do Something. She'd asked the clerk to pick something out for her, and she had to admit that dresses were comfortable! They'd also given her a bra that made her boobs stick out further than she was used to, and Navi poked them out of distraction.

She fluttered to the ground outside the arena, humming a little to herself. She was going to watch fights again! It was almost like being around Link!

Now this was more like it. How it should be. Ever since Max left, he left like he'd been locked up inside of his apartment, not a part of the outside world. That just wasn't Alec's way. But what was the best lift-me-up? Female attention. And at the moment, he was receiving plenty of that, which was just the way that he wanted it. Things were turning back around for him, so to speak. They were paying him to fight, something he'd been trained since birth to do, and the money was more than enough to cover his expenses, and admittedly, he did have a few. The day which pretty much planned out, and if everything went according to plan, he wouldn't be waking up alone tomorrow. He wasn't dressed for the fight yet, he'd change at the gym. Instead he was dressed in a simple attire of blue jeans, boots, and a black Tap Out t-shirt. Nothing important, but it did well enough to show off his physique.

They'd agreed on a location to meet, and he was heading in that direction, searching the streets for a certain face. She was cute, no denying that, and a little crazy. Crazy in a good way though. For some reason he'd always been attracted to those kind of girls. A grin split his lips, thinking of what was ahead. What kind of angle was he going to play? He wasn't sure what she liked yet, it'd be a feeling out process.

Navi was still getting the hang of walking around in heels when she saw Alec.

"Alec! Hi!" She started to walk over, but instead finally gave up, took off her shoes, and fluttered over. "I'm bad in these things, still, but the woman at the store said they'd be good on a date. Then I had her explain what a date was." She sighed, shaking her head, hating that she didn't know everything anymore. It was taxing on her to have to ask for help with simple things constantly.

It was when the last corner was turned that he finally caught sight of the person that he had agreed to meet. The sunglasses that had been perfectly framing his face were quickly removed and a smile spread across his lips even more. He was far from disappointed. Heels? He loved heels, especially when someone like her was wearing them. Not to mention her body and the way her current attire was showcasing it. She looked amazing, and he new right then that he had made the right choice. He was inspecting her so closely that he almost didn't notice the fact that she had fluttered over to him, which should have been equally as amazing, but he just had a one track mind at the moment.

"I wouldn't worry about it, they look great on you." Date. A date. Alec never dated, he was more of the bring some girl home and skip the dinner part. Not tonight. Everyone had to break the norm sometime didn't they? Plus, there was something else about Navi that he hadn't admitted to himself yet. While they didn't physically resemble one another, her naive ways and innocence reminded him of a certain woman from the past. More importantly, the only one he'd ever given a damn about. Rachel. But he didn't want to dwell on that for now.

"Besides, this is a learning process, and you have the best teacher available."

Navi bit her lip and tried the heels back on. She felt a flush spreading to her cheeks, one that she'd never experienced before as a fairy. She didn't know it yet, but she was developing a fondness for blonde-haired men. After spending so much time with Link on his adventures, it was only natural.

She swished her black skirt around her legs a bit, still amused that she had legs for fabric to swish around. "This is weird! I used to be the teacher!" She'd always been proud of knowing so many things, of being an expert about everything Hyrule had to offer. "But I'm sure you'll be good. You're very..." She tried to think of a word. "Handsome!"

Most people might have thought that her behavior was odd, but Alec wasn't most people, and he knew she was telling the truth about being a fairy. He'd seen too many weird things around here for that not be considered possible. Didn't matter though, he thought her quirks were attractive, if anything, but then again, he'd always been drawn to that kind of thing. As far as women were concerned, at least. A smile was still on his lips as she spoke, a small nod of his head given to indicate that he was listening. "Handsome? I think I can live with that."

"And you? Your damn/i> hot. Which is just another way of saying how attractive you are." He figured he might as well explain, save her the trouble of asking. "You sure you wanna watch the fight? Most girls don't like seeing that kind of violence."

Navi felt herself growing hot again, and she pressed her hand to her cheeks to test out why she was having so many temperature fluctuations. "Do I have a fever?" She took his hand and held it to her forehead. Once his fingers touched her face, she bit her lip and shook her head. "Now I'm just warmer."

When he mentioned the violence, she grinned. "I like violence! I helped the Hero of Time save Hyrule before, and he killed all sorts of things. I can't do it myself, but I'm okay with watching and helping with strategy."

There was no objection or resistance when she reached out for his hand, he was far from shy, and to be honest, he was mostly intrigued by her. His fingertips lightly caressed her cheek, and he was able to immediately notice how flushed her skin was, though the reason was more obvious to him than it was to her. "No, not that kind of fever." Smile still planted on his lips, though there was something akin to arrogance on it, which wasn't a foreign feature for Alec. "Something else, not a sickness." He had been doing his best not to look down at her outfit and take more notice of it, but then again, he didn't really care either. So what? He was attracted to her, and looking was looking, no matter what perspective that you have.

Then she was grinning, and that was something else entirely, making her even more attractive. "Well, I don't mind you helping, but I'm planning on ending it in the first round. Need to have plenty of time for dinner, don't we?" He hadn't removed his hand either, palm pressing against her cheek.

Navi waited for him to explain, and tried to think hard about what other things could cause warmth in a human body. Sickness, adrenaline, overexertion, nope, none of those. She caught her mind starting to wander to how pretty his eyes were, how she wondered what it would like to be kissed. She'd seen it happen before, but then she'd been a fairy. She hadn't had arms to hold someone yet, or lips to press against someone else's. But now I do.

She listened to him talk about his upcoming fight, and beamed. "You're confident. It's good in a fight, to know your ability. Do you know your opponent's weaknesses?" She didn't know if he was experienced, though she assumed as such; he had the bearing of a warrior. If there was one thing she could recognize after her adventures, it was that. She noticed his palm was still resting against her cheek and risked moving a little closer. "You're nice and warm."

The girl was naive, there was no two ways about that, but it presented a question in his mind. Was he taking advantage of that fact? The answer, of course, was yes. Yet there wasn't any guilt on his part, not at the moment, and there most likely never would be. He possessed a moral compass, no denying that, but it could be ignored depending on the situation. While he didn't particularly know too much about her, it was her innocence that made him like her, which meant there was the potential for something. Did he like potential? No, he liked one night stands, not potential. Yet it wasn't stopping him from being near her, taking her out, or doing the best to explain things. "Just a natural reaction. You don't get it with everyone, kinda requires...chemistry."

She was smiling even more now, and he was watching her, his thumb making a gentle circular motion on her cheek. "Doesn't have much of a ground game, no submissions, but I'm shooting for a knockout." Hightlight reel knockout to be more exact, gave him a better chance at moving up. It wasn't a fair fight, of course, he was a genetically engineered soldier. Even without his strength, just the knowledge alone that they drilled into him at Manticore would be enough to drop any normal opponent.

"Yeah? Well, what I was talking about earlier, it kind of goes both ways."

"Chemistry?" She tried to think, and bit her lip harder. Surely not the process required to make red potions. She figured it must be a human slang term for something else. As she was thinking, she felt his thumb moving along her cheekbone, and it made her close her eyes and shiver.

"If he overlooks the ground, try knocking him down. Then aim for the head. Are you fast or strong?" She moved even closer to him, then giggled. She was about to be impulsive, and either reap the benefit or punishment. She tiptoed up and pressed her lips to his, like she'd seen Ruto do to Link once. Once there, she wasn't sure if she should move her lips or anything, so she moved away, just to be safe.

"Chemistry..it's something like..a natural attraction, it's either there, or it's not." Probably not the best way to explain it, but he was at a loss for words, and not sounding his smoothest. Oh, he was sure that he didn't sound bad, but he was usually a lot better at this kind of thing than that. Her reaction didn't go unnoticed by him either, it was a small shiver, but it still caught his attention. He couldn't remember the last time he'd had this affect on a girl, besides Claire, because he usually didn't take the time, or just didn't care.

"Both, actually, a nice blend." Well, in reality, he could probably knock someone out before they ever saw him move. He just wouldn't be doing that in public. Get him kicked out of the sport, and he needed the paycheck. Plus, it was fun, getting paid to do something like that. "Enough that this guy won't hit me." Alec liked picking bigger opponents, make more of a game out of it, give them a glimmer of hope. He wasn't mean about it, just a little arrogant.

Then she was moving closer, and she had that mischievous look in her eyes, leaving him not quite knowing what she was going to do next. When she stood up on her tiptoes, he started to get an idea, and it was only a second later that he felt her kissing him. It was a little unexpected, but it wasn't demanding either. And he really didn't think it had that sexual of a base. She was curious, wanting to experience something, test it out. He gently brushed his lips against her own, feeling how soft and warm her's were, knowing that she was uncertain. When Navi pulled away, he grinned at her even more than he had been. "Hope I didn't disappoint you."

"Oh?" She tried to focus a bit on his fighting strategy, thinking about what she'd suggest to help him win.

"Well, if you're fast and strong, yeah. Knock him down then wail on him as fast as you can. With your strength behind it, it'll work just fine! And I'll be cheering for you. You'll have to tell me if you can hear me after you're done winning." She smiled at him, completely sure that if he said he could win, he could. She trusted him. She was sure that he'd given her no reason not to. He wasn't Ganon.

The kiss was... she smiled afterwards, licking her lips and sighing loudly. "That was nice. Can you do it for longer? I won't suffocate you or anything, will I?"

"Sounds like a plan to me." Discussing strategy wasn't something he had figured on doing, but it was oddly something he liked. Finding a girl that had more than a passing interest was rare, and he might as well enjoy it for as long as he could. "Tell you what, if you see me throw a head kick, that means that I can hear you." Seemed like the best way to let her know, plus a nice KO might get him moved from the preliminary bouts and onto the main card. Something to think about later, not right now. There wasn't any doubt in his mind that he was going to win though, especially with her watching. He might have to throw a fight away down the line at some point, but that wasn't now.

God, the way she licked her lips and sighed. She might be naive and innocent, but how could anyone not find that irresistible? Even if it hadn't been her intention, that was the kind of reaction that he had. once the question had been asked, his lips curled into a slightly arrogant smirk. "I can do it for longer than that, no doubt, and you won't have to worry about suffocating me." With his other hand, he grabbed her own, gently holding onto it. "People might stare out here though." She was curious about kissing, he was willing to show her.

"Really? For me?" Navi grinned and clapped her hands, beaming at him. "That's sweet of you, really." She was starting to like all of this "date" business. The girl at the store had made it seem like a big deal, but to Navi it was just plain warm. Warm and heart-fluttery and lip-tingly.

"Oh, they'd stare? That's bad, I guess." She nibbled on her lower lip, and held onto his hand as well, lacing her fingers through his. "Okay, but you've got to promise me you'll show me later, okay? After dinner?" She hoped they had mints. She'd been using the internet enough to bump into a website about dentistry, and it had terrified her.

Alec wasn't sure how he'd managed to pull this. Navi wasn't like any of the girls that she was use to. Most of them didn't exactly have the highest of morals, and were pretty far from being nice. But her? She was sweet, innocent, and very curious. Those were things that should be turning him away, but for some reason or another, the change was refreshing. Kind of like what he'd experienced with Rachel. She'd shown him what living was outside of Manticore. He guessed in a way, he was showing Navi what living was outside of the experiences she'd had before. He couldn't imagine what being a fairy was like, but that conversation would probably come up later. "That's right, just for you. Have to try and put on a show for my fan. Besides, can always use the motivation."

His fingers were intertwined with her own, it just came natural, and didn't bother him in the slightest. He usually wasn't about this kind of thing, holding hands, dinner and a date. Seemed right with her though. "After dinner, I'll show you how good kissing can be, promise." When was the last time his heart had pounded from the thought of kissing a girl? Only with Claire since he'd been in this crazy place, but he didn't care about that right now, better to focus on Navi.

With her hand held within his own, he walked her down the street, heading towards the gym. "I wouldn't usually care if someone stared, but it's different this time around. Think you deserve a little better than that for your first kiss."

"I'm your biggest fan!" She felt herself lose control of her excitement and flutter off of the ground a bit. She glowed bright blue for a moment, twinkling almost audibly. When she realized what she'd done, she giggled and made herself put her feet firmly on the concrete.

She hadn't let go of his fingers. It felt comfortable, and somehow natural. She squeezed gently, testing out the different tactile sensations. "Good. I really liked kissing, and yeah. That was sort of my first." She looked around at where they were walking, oohing when the gym came into sight.

"Do you need to change? Can I sit in the front?"

Alec titled his head to the side and watched with a look of amusement on his face when she started to lift from the ground and glow a bright blue. He'd seen weird things here, sure, but this was something entirely different. He guessed if he had a different background, he might freak out over something like that, but that wasn't really an issue. "Can honestly say, I've never seen that one before. I like it thought." Quirky, eccentric, or just different, not really any label that fit her. She use to be a fairy, and he couldn't even wrap his mind around that. She just seemed...like some cute girl that was different from all the others. Which was the way that he wanted it.

Feeling her give a small squeeze, he returned it, lightly sliding his thumb over her knuckle. It was all new to her, and in a way, Alec wasn't exactly experienced in this kind of intimacy. Not the holding hands, being affectionate kind, but it wasn't a bad thing either. "Really liked it, huh?" An arch of an eyebrow and wicked grin was shot her way. "We're barely scratching the surface. You'll just have to hang on for the ride." He licked his lips and let his eyes drift towards the gym. They had a cage set up in the gym for fights. It wasn't a big promotion, but some people would be there.

"Of course you can sit in the front. I just gotta change into my shorts and warm up." He paused, stopping their forward progression, and looked down at her. "See, the normal thing is, the girl is suppose to give you a kiss for good luck." Hell, he might as well go for it, wasn't like he was attacking her. Leaning in, his lips were quick to find her own, keeping the kiss light and gentle for the moment, but letting it linger longer.

"I used to be really little. You should've seen me on my first day here - I hit everything. The kids I teach thought it was really funny." She remembered how it had felt to go from a centimeters tall to five feet and three inches - awkward. But she was okay now. And being able to interact with humans on their level - well, that was just thrilling. She wasn't just "Link's Fairy" anymore, or "Deku's helper" - she was Navi, a woman. It was heady.

She felt goosebumps rise on her arm when he slid his thumb. She had no idea humans were so responsive to easy touches. It made her wonder what they felt like when they were hurt - it must be blinding. She watched him lick his lips, feeling a familiar heat in her cheeks before diverting her eyes.

"How can a kiss be good luck?" She was curious, but then she felt him press his lips to hers. It was light and sweet and she could just barely feel him. When they parted, she laughed. "But you gave me one! I'm supposed to give you one for luck, right?" She fluttered up a bit, so she wouldn't have to tiptoe in her somewhat painful heels. "Here." She kissed him again, trying out a bit more pressure. That's much better, he's right.

"Really little, huh? Hard time imagining that, not that I don't believe you." He couldn't imagine something like that, the difference, or how much your role in life would change. Then again, Alec didn't put a lot of thoughts into things like that. Most people wouldn't exactly call him a 'cerebral' person, but he was far from dumb. "Kinda have a preference for you being how you are now." He could see how curious she was in her eyes, just that glint, something you hardly ever saw, but got the feeling it was special when you finally did.

"Not really sure on why it's good luck. Just an extra boost, I guess.' Of course he had almost immediately kissed her when they were done talking. Light and gentle, enough to feel it, but not giving more than that. but when she laughed, he started to grin again, it was kind of contagious, he couldn't help it. "That's right. You were suppose to give me one...guess we'll have to even the score." She was already starting to lift up from the ground, making them closer to eye level. This was new, for sure, he hadn't ever kissed a girl like her before.

This time was a little different than the previous. It wasn't as light, which did shift some emotion in Alec. He tilted his head down, leaning into the kiss, feeling the pressure she was applying into it. With the kiss having more force, he lightly traced his tongue across her lips, getting his first real taste of her. He also squeezed her hand at the same time, pulling her a little closer before he broke up the kiss.

"It's pretty hard for most human-sized things to think about, unless they had fairies or pixies where they came from. And I like it better this way too. It's nice for people to see me and really... I don't know, see me." Fairies were always thought of as universally one dimensional - utilitarian, or advisors. They never had depth or emotions, and Navi was enjoying the fact that people saw her with layers. Feelings, and - it made her nearly glow with pride and pleasure to think of it - attractiveness.

"Oh, okay! It's psychological in nature." She liked light and airy kisses. They reminded her of soda - bubbly and sweet. She liked when he grinned, and made a promise to herself to get him to smile more. He seemed to be like many heroes - intense, driven, and focused. Sometimes, even heroes needed to laugh.

Then she was fluttering up to give him his proper good-luck kiss. She only flew up enough to press her lips to his, then she felt her body descend again. She was far too focused on how he felt to continue with flying. She felt her free arm go around his neck out of some sort of instinct, almost clinging. His tongue made her whimper faintly in the back of her neck, unexpected but not unwelcome. When their lips parted, her mouth was still faintly open, breath coming in short bursts.

"Goodness. Um. Um." She fanned herself and laughed, reaching out to straighten the lapels of his shirt. "Wow."

'It's more than a sin that you couldn't be seen before. Don't know how anyone could miss a smile like that." Of course he had actually considered being more blunt about it, replace a few words, but she didn't deserve that kind of treatment. If it were just some random girl tat he planned to sleep with and never see again, he probably would have. But Navi..she was something else entirely. Unique. Which meant she was worth at least a second date, if she agreed, that was. But Alec had an plenty of confidences, so he wasn't going to fret over that part.

"That's right." A slight pause as he looked down at her, she had that thoughtful kind of pondering look on her face, like she was recalling something. "If you don't give me a good luck kiss, I might not be able to focus on the fight, and no-one wants that to happen."

Almost all thoughts disappeared at that point, because they were kissing again. when he felt her arm slide around the back of his neck, he did what anyone else would have, what came naturally. He put his own arm around her small waist, pulling her closer to his body. eyes closed when she made such a soft whimpering sound, it had caught him off guard a little, but it was something that did turn him on. Hearing her make that kind of noise, knowing she was making it because of him. when they pulled away, his lips were tingling with sensation, and there was a faint taste of her lingering.

"Wow..that covers it." He gave a small nod, still holding onto Navi, letting her fix his shirt. "The best part is..." He trailed off for a second, letting his eyes linger down to her lips. "It gets better."

He seemed to have an easy time with making Navi blush, but she didn't mind. She enjoyed spending time around him. He was handsome, and easy to talk to. Plus, he had a Hero's Bearing, which meant that she knew he was destined for great things. She wanted to make sure that he had someone to confide in when he got to do them, and she'd decided that she preferred that someone to be her.

"Goodness, I don't want you to not be able to focus!" Even if it was simple sparring, Alec could get hurt, and she certainly didn't want that. She didn't know much about this world, but she knew that healing seemed to be far behind what she was used to.

She was still breathing a bit hard, still smiling. She liked her arms around him. It was odd - as a fairy, she did love wide open spaces, and nature, and the feeling of flying and being free - but somehow, he made her feel safe when he held onto her. She supposed that was what all women felt, but it was interesting to feel it firsthand.

"Better?" Her eyes widened, and she smirked mischievously. "You're going to win, then we're going to eat to celebrate - I'm starving - and then we're going to go somewhere and you're going to show me the better part. Deal?" She put her hands on her hips and tried to look intimidating, but knew that she'd failed. Instead, she looped her arm in his and started to walk toward the stadium.

"Sounds like the best plan that I've heard in awhile." Couldn't really go wrong with that. Earn some money, take her to dinner, then take her home. Day couldn't go any better than that, especially considering that he actually wanted to spend time with her. Most of the time, he didn't care what they had to say, just tuned out until things picked up. Wasn't like that with Navi, which was far from being a bad thing. He tilted his head when she placed her hands on her hips and sent a mock glare in his direction. "I think you might be a little too cute to give orders." His tone was teasing, he didn't really mean anything by it, ut she would have known that.

With her close to his side, arms looped together, he led Navi to the gym. It was fairly large, looked pretty new, and upon stepping inside you could see all of the equipment. It was probably the best camp available in New York, but it didn't take Alec long to convince them that he should be trained there. The octagon had already been set up, it's where they'd be fighting, and there was a small crowd of people. Sure, he could have waited until they were at a larger venue, but he had wanted to show Navi now. Reluctantly, he released her, though had yet to look away. "I'm going to go change. You can take a seat or look around." Reaching up, he brushed a few strands of hair away from her eyes, still smirking. "I'll put on a show for you."

Navi grinned, feeling something warm and bouncy in her heart. She'd never heard of the term "butterflies in the stomach", but if she had, she would have understood. When he smiled at her, she felt like she wanted to do loop-the-loops in the sky.

She blinked when the saw the gym, but wasn't too unfamiliar with the notion of stadiums built for sparring matches. She hadn't seen one quite this high-tech or large, and she looked around with curiosity at the equipment. She had a million questions that she wanted to ask him, but she didn't. She'd wait.

When he pulled away and said he was going to go change, she nodded. Part of her didn't want him to go, but the rest of her wanted to see her new Hero in action. She liked the way it felt when he touched her face, and she closed her eyes, enjoying it. "I know you will. I'll make sure you can hear me."

Figures this would all turn into something he didn't expect. After having to end things with Claire, and Max just leaving him, e didn't figure he'd want anything to do with a woman that lasted more than a night. But this fairy-turned-woman was something else entirely. She reminded him of the only girl he'd truly ever loved, and maybe that was going to be his downfall. Not that he couldn't see the qualities that made her very much an individual, those were many, but the similarities to Rachel also caught his attention. He could definitely distinguish between the two of them, Navi just happened to have a pretty powerful effect on him, because he was already planning on asking her out again.

"I'm sure you'll make the other fighter jealous. Seeing someone like you cheering for me." With another smile sent in her direction, he turned around and headed into the area that was best described as a locker room. It was there that he shed his normally clothing and changed into a pair of Tapout! shorts that ended a few inches above his knees. The normal fighting shorts that most American kickboxers would wear. Not an unusual sight at all. He was in Olympic caliber shape, Manticore was the one to thank for that, after all, they had given him perfect genetics. He warmed up for a few minutes before he knew that the time had come. He left the locker room area and headed straight outside and then entered the Octagon. He didn't have a bunch of coaches following him, but that wasn't a bother either.

He looked out and spotted Navi, he wanted to smile, but tried to keep a straight face for the moment. The referee, who also doubled for a ringer announcer, informed the crowd of who the two fighters were, and then took his place in the middle of the Octagon. When the ref gave the signal, Alec nodded his head, and the fight was on. He shot out from his side, assuming a classic Muay Thai stance, waiting for his opponent to strike. When the man came in, Alec allowed himself to get hit in the body and chin, and stumbled backwards as if he were hurt. That was far from the case, he quickly regained his balance and flashed the other man a wicked grin. It was his turn. Time for the fireworks. Alec grabbed his opponent and pulled him into the clinch before he started to slam his knee into the man's ribs, attacking each side, knowing that it would make his hands drop. Of course Alec was right, and when the other fighter dropped his hands, Alec shoved him away.

He could hear Navi cheering, it was amazing, being able to distinguish her voice from the crowd. While he wouldn't turn to look, he could almost picture her in his mind, jumping up and down, yelling for him to win. He'd hate to disappoint her. He planted his leg foot firmly on the Octagon mat, before he swung forward, lifting his right leg. It was good technique, carrying more than enough power. His foot connected with the other fighter's head, landing a punishing head kick, sending his opponent to the ground, unconscious before he'd ever landed. The referee jumped in and stopped the fight. It was only a moment later before his arm was raised. "Winner by first round Knock Out, Alec McDowell!" Of course Alec wasn't paying attention to the other people, he looked straight at Navi and smiled.
