"Still. I can't imagine not being able to sleep. I love sleep, now that I do it." She squeezed his hand in what she hoped was a reassuring manner. She'd completely forgotten that the auditorium was likely filled with people at all, and instead felt like they were the only two people left on the planet. She'd never felt that way with anyone, and she wanted to keep it up as long as she could.
When he watched her, she felt her body responding with damp heat and goosebumps. She tried not to smirk, but she liked that she could direct Alec's attention toward her. He'd probably been with many women before, she theorized - he was gorgeous and sweet, of course he had. Instead of focusing on him, which surely would have made her nervous, she went to the shower.
She didn't hear what he said, instead turning on the spray of the shower and standing underneath it. She sighed contentedly, pivoting a bit as she got wet, grinning at him. "C'mere, silly!" She waved him over, leaning her head back into the spray, getting her hair wet.
