It might have been loud and noisy outside, but within the locker room, the only sounds being made were coming from the two of them. It was tranquil in a way, not having to worry about anything else, like being trapped within a miniature universe where nothing else mattered. Of course it wouldn't last for too long, but that wasn't what mattered, it was important that it had existed at all. Something that couldn't be taken away. The thought caused him to smile against her lips, still not wanting to pull away, knowing that they didn't have to just yet.
This wasn't how he usually acted. Not even close. He wasn't lying to her though, wasn't presenting a fake persona. But, he wondered, if she knew the truth, what she'd really think of him. He knew that he wouldn't be a hero to her anymore. He was anything but that, and he didn't want her to know. He wouldn't lie to her, but he'd do his best to keep her from learning right away. He wanted to tell her himself, if anything, just not all at once. Not many people could handle it.
"No..and yes." It was the best way to answer her question, or so he thought. His forehead was still leaning against her's slightly, lips tingling from the kiss, her taste fresh in his mouth. 'It's not normal..to feel that way when just anyone touches you." He was thinking the best way to say it without sounding overly self centered or arrogant. "Only when someone special touches you...then you feel like that." People might think he was shallow, but he did firmly believe that if you didn't put your heart out on the line, you weren't living at all.
He waited a few seconds before he tilted his head down and softly kissed her neck, pressing his lips against the soft skin that was found there. He wasn't trying to push too far, not right now, but he wanted to give her a slightly new feeling.
