Alec couldn't stop smiling, not even if he had wanted to, which he obviously didn't. She was even more excited than he was. He'd viewed it as just a pay check before, but she gave it much more respect than that, the respect that it really did deserve. When she kissed him on the check, it just made it even better, though he wasn't quite sure why. It was different, having something that supported him, that he didn't always have to fight with. Any relationship he had been in before, there had more conflict than anything else, though he was sure it was his fault.
"Glad to see I have your approval." He winked at her, still smiling, which wasn't likely to change any time soon. "Then again, I had a little extra motivation, no surprise I did my best with you around." The other people were still talking, a few might have tried to speak with him, but Alec didn't pay them any attention. "Couldn't let someone with a smile like that down.'' It was a little amazing to him, someone that could be that happy for someone else. He didn't know that he'd ever experienced it before.
Reaching out, he grabbed her hand, pulling her towards the locker room, though he didn't enter it yet. "Have you had Italian food yet? Because I think I have a good surprise for you." He was still holding onto her, of course, though he barely noticed.
