Navi just blushed and waved as Alec walked into the locker room. She sat down in one of the chairs in the front row, wanting to be as close to the action as possible. She by and large ignored the other people, including a guy who wanted to know why she was there by herself. She informed him that she was with one of the fighters, and that ended that discussion fairly quickly.
Navi could feel the crowd's excitement bubbling up, even before the fighters got into the arena, and it was infectious. She was grinning, and she couldn't help standing up and cheering when the announcer said Alec's name. She watched the action, wishing she could fly up and hover above it like she was used to - it would be a better vantage point from which to give him tactical advice. But he was doing a wonderful job on his own, and she was soon jumping up and down and cheering her heart out. If she'd known better, she'd would have been able to sense that she'd have a sore throat the next day, but seeing as she wasn't used to having a human throat, she just clapped and cheered.
When he kicked the other fighter in the head, her face lit up into a huge grin. It might have been something odd to smile at, but Navi didn't realize that. She cupped her hands around her mouth, cheering harder, feeling herself blush when he smiled at her. She bounced from foot to foot, waiting for him to get out of the arena and back to her so she could compliment him on his speed and form.
