"I've been meaning to get myself one of those," Sam said with a nod to her Kindle, "I was just waiting for the price to go down and the bugs to get fixed first, since the technology was still pretty new from where and when I am - I'm about four years behind, here," he mentioned, leaning back when she asked about school. "Well, my dad disappeared, going after the demon I told you about, so Dean came to get me and we went looking for dad. After I got back, though..." His face fell and he shook his head. "Things just panned out in a way that made it impossible for me to stay there. I liked the freedom, but I don't think I could go back to it now."
