Corso chuckled. He could see her point. Imagining the captain and a senator was a pretty strange picture. "I know. I know it's not charity." He smiled a little, looking her in the eyes. "And you know you couldn't get rid of me as easily as throwing me out an airlock, even if it was." She was pretty well stuck with him.
