WHO: Yuna and Tidus
WHEN: Valentine's Day
WHAT: Taking that last step
WHERE: Their studio apartment in Hawaii
WARNINGS: If there's not smut, she's going to be extremely annoyed.
Yuna sat on her bed, fidgetting. She'd never done anything like this before. And she wasn't afraid, not exactly, just...very aware that she'd never done anything like this before. There were candles lit around the room, and sandalwood incense touched the air with its musky scent. Not too heavy, but enough to tease the nose.
And she was wearing something soft and white and barely there, and waiting for Tidus to come back.
It was so strange, living with him, and not exactly living with him. As soon as she'd arrived he'd come to her, and moved in without either of them saying a word about it, or needing to. She wanted him always nearby, to tease her and laugh with her and support her when she needed it, and she wanted to do the same for him. But he was gone a good deal; life as an international soccer champion involved a lot of traveling (though he took Portkey shortcuts whenever he could, and used them to sneak home whenever he could as well, whatever the rest of the team was doing; just as she made it to every single game and cheered as loud as she could). And for all that he boasted it was ten times easier than blitzball, it still took energy and time.
So perhaps that was why, despite the fact that they'd been sharing a bed and affection and hugs and kisses, they hadn't done anything more.
Yuna very much wanted to do more.
Perhaps it was that Tidus didn't think of her like that? Oh, he loved her, she was sure, even though he hadn't said it. It was there in the way he looked at her, the way his eyes shone. But he didn't seem to feel the same hunger she sometimes felt.
She'd gone to Lulu and Rikku for advice, of course, and they'd both said much the same thing: pounce on him. Tidus was a sweetheart, but he could be clueless, do if she didn't make the first move, he might never think of it. Rikku had offered all sorts of creative ideas (including her own method of pretending to faint in the shower), but Yuna preferred to do things her own way.
So whatever the reason for their lack of intimacy, whether it was not enough energy or cluelesssness or fear of hurting her or anything, Yuna was going to do something about it. Now. Tonight.
