Once they'd gotten her locked in a room, Mia's kidnappers had been perfectly cordial to her. It was kinda weird, really. They didn't want to yell at her or hit her or any of the things bad guys usually did. She was just supposed to sit calmly and wait for playboy billionaire Bruce Wayne to bail her out.

Yeah. Right.

She'd tried to explain to them that she needed her meds. They couldn't just keep her here, she would get sick. They wouldn't listen to her, though. Maybe they didn't understand, or maybe they thought she was lying just to get out. Either way, they'd left her locked up while she got sicker and sicker.

Bruce had taken her straight to the hospital after he'd rescued her. She wasn't in dire straits, or anything.. Not like she was dying. They just needed to get all her blood counts back to normal. They were keeping her overnight.

When Eli got to the hospital, she was cuddling with a six-foot long alligator plush toy.
