Upon arriving on Earth, Vash had begun wandering aimlessly around New York City. There was so much to see, his mind almost couldn't handle it. So after he'd joined a street performer in a gleeful little dance and snatched some free donuts from the donut company he apparently owns, he began exploring Central Park. He looked at the trees with up most curiosity, touching the bushes, getting down on his knees to smell the grass. A 12 year old had inquired as to what he was doing and when he began asking questions, the little boy led him around the park and explained things until his mother called him home.

So, currently eyeing a squirrel that had settled on the park bench beside him, Vash waited for Wolfwood.

He led the man down a few blocks, rambling about the area, the nice people, the mean people, the various flora and fauna. The church he worked at was large, big enough to justify having two or three priests, though by no means oppulent.

He led Vash into the main church, bowing to the altar as he passed, heading for the priests' quarters. Before they got there, they were greeted by the sound of a dog barking and scratching at the door.

	He watched Wolfwood bow curiously, shaking his head. Even after all this time he still didn't understand human religion. But his friend seemed devout and he would respect that. Vash heard the barking and his eyes lit up. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	The dog, once the door was open, rushed out, all wagging tail and loud barks. The goofy grin on Wolfwood's face got wider, and he scratched the dog behind the ears. "Goldie. She's a stray Jordan, the other priest, adopted a few years ago." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Finally, Vash was pinned to the ground by Goldie who started licking at his face, tail wagging. "Ahhh! Uncle! Uncle!" Vash flailed a bit, laughing before rubbing the dog's sides. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Wolfwood laughed, sprawling on the couch, Goldie curling up on her blanket, worn out from the playing. "She's a really good dog." He beamed, albeit from an upside down perspective (his head dangling over the edge of the couch and all), at Vash. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Wolfwood is, at times, quite dense. In fact, he is almost willfully ignorant of the world around him, when he has a focused goal. However, willful ignorance really can't cover over everything. He knew that he wanted, as crazy as it felt, to kiss Vash. He almost did, too, though he stalled at the last second, afraid of what the other man would say or do. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Vash's lips were soft, which surprised him a little. He moved closer, kissing back, pulling back slowly, far more out of breath than he really should be, given the length of the kiss. "Wow." It was the only word he could think of at the moment. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
