Raziel snorted, shaking his head in amusement, "Voodoo's hilarious. I never had a hand in any of it, but it still works for the willing and wishing. It shows the power of human desire." He set down the cards in a four point cross spread, explaining which each of the cards meant as he set them down, face down on the table.
"The point of tarot is not to show the future or tell you your larger fate, but to help you in your decisions along the way. There are no spreads that can accurately tell you where you will ultimately end up, because nothing can foretell that. Fate is subjective to each action you make. As I said, this is only to tell you what your attitudes are to everything, so you can have a better grasp on how to go about your life." That said, he flipped the first card over to show the seven of wands. "Your current face attitude is one of valor. You feel courageous in the face of adversity and victorious in overcoming great obstacles. There is strength in your outward attitude, however, in your inner thoughts," he said, flipping over the second card to show the five of coins reversed, "you feel prudence. You are worried about the other shoe dropping in a very physical way. You do not wish to become so inwardly victorious due to it. But the five of coins in reverse also signifies loneliness and suffering aiding spiritual growth."
