WHO: Phoebe, Gaz. If there's anyone else at Mordhaus in Baja, drop me a line! This is Phoebe's first visit out of Paris :)
WHAT: Meeting for the first time, music will most likely come up
WHERE: Mordhaus, Baja, California
WARNINGS: I don't know, but uh...will update!

Perhaps the most intelligent of the Titans, Phoebe had found herself at a befuddled loss as to how a manky old boot was supposed to transport her anywhere. One moment, and she'd been handed it, and another moment, the time was up. She stood still a moment, staring at the salesman, before she felt a harsh yank right around her navel and seemed to twist and spin and almost fly, landing in what was clearly a garden of the worst things imaginable.

On all fours in a generally relaxed outfit for the fashion town of Paris, a black little dress with proper accessories, her hair done in relaxed curls, with a top that showed her chest a bit, she found herself ready to hurl. Not only that, but the shapes of the tall bushes wasn't very welcoming, either. She swore she'd never seen a dinosaur made of plant life look more real than she one she looked up to find.

What else had she expected??

She finally managed to regain her balance and calm, hiked her purse over her shoulders, and adjusted a strap on her ankle before walking up to the closest door and speaking with security. Thankfully, the Wartooth matriarch had told them immediately, which was quite to hear. She was led inside and took a look around, noting the architecture. What she did note after that was the level and type of music being blared, which had her asking the security where the kitchen was.

A moment later and she'd down two Advil with a glass of water, bracing herself against the counter and trying to fight the oncoming headache of despair.

"Yeah. Actually, I have ... well, one Halloween I turned into one of the characters from the game, and all of her powers, well, I still have them." She shrugged. "And a couple of the undead from it are here."

"The undead!?" that seemed to startle her more than the explanation of being turned into a video game character. Her hand went to her (impressive) chest in surprise. "How surprising! Whyever would you keep them around?"

"Josef is a mage, he summons me food." She didn't know how the food was tasty, since he didn't have a lower jaw and all, but it was okay. "He kind of leers at me, but pizza's worth it."

"You're okay with the undead having names, but not with the men around the house having them?" she asked, the two seemingly illogical contradictions to her. "That's rather odd, but I try to keep an open mind. I only eat pizza in Italy and New York City, mostly. I've never had another American pizza outside of that. Are his extraordinary?"

"The Gears are Dethklok's thing, not mine. The band set all of that up. I just fell into this place when I got brought here. His are really good, you want one?" Gaz stood up and murmured a few words in a strange language. Her voice took on a deeper tone, and for a moment, her eyes glowed red.

Then a gurgling, vaguely decomposing man with no lower jaw, tongue flapping wildly appeared before them. He apparently knew why Gaz sent for him and started to cast his own spells.

"Oh my dear Mother Gaia," she said as the man appeared, unused to such decaying beings. Her hand went to her mouth as she tried to get over the smell, and then he somehow summoned something, which overtook the decaying smell and replaced with pure deliciousness.

"Thank you, Monsieur Josef," she said immediately, completely curious as to the whole procedure.

Gaz nodded as he set down the pizza, sighing as he gestured and began to gurgle enthusiastically. "Thank you, no, I didn't do anything different to my hair." She murmured again in a language foreign to anyone but the most hardcore of WoW players and sent Josef elsewhere.

"Pervert."

"Oh, he seems pleasant enough," she said after a moment, taking the pizza and going to the nearest empty table, setting it down properly and pulling up two chairs. "I just now realized I'm famished, but I guarantee you I won't each much. French food and all, it comes in small packages."

She sent her a brilliant smile, looking into her purse a moment. "Oh...I'll just use my hands. Sir! Could you bring us some napkins and paper plates?" she called the closest Gear, who grunted, nodded, and took off to do so.

"Pizza was the only worthwhile thing eating where I'm from. Everything else was made out of napkins." It was weird, Gaz's tongue was loosened around her. She only had one other real friend in the world besides her husband, but Phoebe was proving to be a definite possibility for her second.

Made out of napkins, she found herself mouthing, mouthing words for the second time in one day. It wasn't too unusual for her, really, but still! Made of napkins, really!?

The Gear returned in record time, even bringing a plastic knife, which caused her to gasp and praise him for forethought, that which had saved many a soul and killed far too many. She gently placed one napkin over her chest, passing the paper plates between them.

"What kinds of things does he put on it? I'm more used to chicken and artichoke heart and spinach types of things on mine, to be honest."

Gaz nodded a little, but mostly wrinkled her nose. "Yeah, it was gross then and I'm sure it still is." She took a napkin for her hands, folding her pizza in half before starting to eat. Since it was pretty much the only thing she ate, she was talented at not dripping it on herself. "He made a plain one for you and a pepperoni one for me. When I was pregnant he made me a bunch of chicken ones." She shuddered in disdain.

"Both times I was pregnant...haa, I am not sure how my husband could handle me. I real b-word, I was."

She seemed to recall those days fondly as she used the knife to cut a few pieces in the shape of crackers and partook of them. She may not have been used to eating such things, thus putting them in a familiar form. Her manners, however, for fast food were impeccable. She sat up properly and pulled out her wet cloth wipes pack for when they were done, if that came anytime soon. "Constant cravings for seafood, which we knew were bad. There wasn't much we didn't know, really!"

Seeing as Phoebe and Koios were the pair of intellect, it was rather expected, wasn't it?

"I didn't notice a difference when I was pregnant." Nor had anyone else; Gaz was gruff and mean at the best of times. She wrinkled her nose at the mention of seafood. Since she'd only ever really eaten pizza or cereal, her palate was underdeveloped. "You have two kids? What did they do?"

"Koios and I had two daughters, Astoria first and then Leto," she supplied without issue. "Astoria was very in tune with the stars, and Leto was so beautiful that Zeus pursued her. They bore Artemis and Apollo."

Yes, she'll leave out what he and Poseidon did to Astoria. For now, at least, that is a story for another time.

"I've heard of Leto." Gaz couldn't tell her what she did, but she'd heard of her. She thought briefly of her son, and smiled lopsidedly to herself. "Stefan's a good kid."

"Stefan's your son?" she inquired, though turned to cut more of her pizza in those cracker-shaped pieces. "Stefan, truly? That's from the Greek word meaning, "Crown," Where it originated, I mean. It sounds more Scandinavian these days, to be honest." She leaned in closely to add, "I think they took it from us and ran with it, you see."

"Yes. We named him after one of Teja's middle names." She shrugged and and reached under the sofa to grab some fruit snacks, offering Phoebe a pouch.

"Very nice," she said, looking at the snacks. She took them and eyed them cautiously before putting them gently into her purse. "For later," she explained briefly. To be honest, Phoebe ate mostly healthy, and the pizza was already probably going to give her heartburn due to it, but who was she to ask if Gaz couldn't have zombies go to the nearest health food store and procure organic goods?

However, she could see herself, sitting up and diddling with her toenails (because they needed it!) and eating the fruit snacks in a very surreptitious manner. She figured that the men of the security would leave her be, but she couldn't be sure when someone would burst in unannounced. "I'm afraid I didn't have my luggage on me when I took the portkey," she said as she started her second slice, "you have extra clothes in, say, a guest room I could borrow, perhaps?"

Gaz nodded. "Yeah. One at the top of the dragon, so you don't have the loud." She stood up and went to find a Gear, ordering him to come and take Phoebe's measurements and then go make her some clothes.

Even if that Gear couldn't do it, someone could.

It was here, holding out her arms and moving around without her heels, that Gaz could see how devastatingly short the goddess was. Perhaps an inch over five feet if she squinted, perhaps two, it couldn't have been any more than that. Though she did end up standing on tip toe at a few points so he could get better measurements, much to her direct glares at the measuring tape in his hands. He grunted after he was done writing them down and left, to which Phoebe turned and went back to her pizza—the rest of a second slice. "It must be nice," she said, "having those men available at all hours of the day to do your bidding."

Gaz wasn't a whole lot taller, maybe three inches or so. She just seemed larger, possibly due to the way light grew dimmer around her, the way shadows seemed deeper.

"It's okay. They don't talk unless they're spoken to. That's nice."

"I don't knooooow," she mused, looking off in the distance with a cracker-style slice of pizza held aloft, a curl of cheese mocking the white of her manicure. It was the first time she'd looked deathly serious since she'd been here, since Gaz had seen her.

"It's not as nice to have belief, I've found, if it's not expressed vocally. Prayer and sacrifice always made my heart glad."
